How can I make my newly-frizzy hair look more 'done'?

Until two months ago I had swishy, super straight, super-sleek hair that needed no straightening and no blow drying. I was like the Pantene woman, which was quite good seeing as the rest of me is usually spotty and dishevelled.

Unfortunately I have moved and the water is different in my new area. My hair is now very prone to frizz and is noticeably worse compared to washing on my visits home. I now have to blow dry it with Moroccan oil, which makes it look nice straight afterwards- but by the time I wake up the next morning, it is flyaway and frizzy with a kink to it.

I don’t have a lot of time in the mornings and can’t sacrifice any sleep to morning styling so it ends up in a bun- is there a sleeping contraption or anything you can suggest that will stop me looking like a frizz ball in the mornings?

Bumping this for you as I have a similar problem.

Sleeping on a silk pillowcase has helped a bit.

Rinse your hair with filtered or mineral water or install a filter in your shower?

Make your last rinse a vinegar one.
A good glug of vinegar in a jug of water neutralises the water and will make it shiny too. Cool rather than hot.
Once it dries you will not smell like a chip shop.
Cheapo malt will do.

Someone on here recommended Ellenet mousse (curly creme) and it's been brilliant for me.
