How can I get rid of this line??

I have a frown line between my eyes that seems to be getting deeper by the day and will no longer ‘flatten out’ I know I could get a bit of Botox or whatever but I’m only in my 30’s and not prepared to go down that route just yet --or maybe ever

Can anybody recommend a magic cream or something just to flatten it out a bit?!

Botox or filler is your only option. It'll get worse over time and a little botox or filler now will stop it in it's tracks, at least for while.

Shock is there no other hope??

I believe so, sorry OP Sad

I know of nothing else effective enough that would stamp out one specific line, especially one that is getting a bit on the deep side.

Definitely only Botox and or filler. No cream will ever sort it. Botox really is the bees knees. Once you have it , you’ll wish you’d done it earlier. Wink

Oh bugger Sad

Why oh bugger? It works a treat on the 11s. It doesn't hurt too much and it lasts ages. Creams will do precisely nothing I'm afraid.

That said, you could give Frownies a go first.

HolgerDanske · 07/11/2017 09:39

Yeah nothing else works.

NewtsSuitcase · 07/11/2017 09:41

botox is your friend here. Do you have an issue with it in principle due to not wanting to use injectables or is it a stigma related issue?

HollyandBrambles · 07/11/2017 10:20

I’m just a bit afraid of the unknown i suppose, it’s not something I’ve ever considered before!

The line between your eyes is awesome. My DD has it already because she smiles with her eyes to the point that her nose scrunches up.

Liiinoo · 07/11/2017 12:08

Botox. It will fix it and stop it getting worse. I understand your reluctance. It wasn't something I thought I'd ever do but now it is as routine as getting a haircut or having my nails done.

DancingHouse · 07/11/2017 13:16

Wear sunglasses to stop squinting and try to frown less to prevent it getting deeper.

newdocket · 07/11/2017 13:37

yep. botox. i had mine done recently and my only regret is that i didn't take the plunge earlier. it's not the big thing i had made it to be in my mind, i just look a bit less cross and slightly fresher. no one has noticed but i feel better when i look in the mirror.

Fatbergs · 07/11/2017 13:51

Go and buy a safetox, they're amazing.
I ironed out mine using one.
Look on ebay - they are £££££££££

squoosh · 07/11/2017 14:06

Have an eye test to see if you need glasses/updated prescription. And yes to sunglasses too.

HollyandBrambles · 07/11/2017 15:29

Never thought it could be anything to do with my eyes! Perhaps I could just keep the sunglasses on permanently, that would solve it!!

Yes get eyes checked. My sister (younger than me but sub damage plus shift work plus dry fragile skin) had Botox on some areas and it looks brilliant. It just irons out the creases, you wouldn’t know she’d had it done. Get someone who’s qualified, has good reviews and specialises. She had hers done by an aesthetician. Apparently some dentists are doing it too, as they have a good knowledge of where facial nerves are.
