blimey tons of things. my old pink pineapple dance sloppy sweat that i had in 1986 comes to mind..

DANCESwithaFewExtraPounds · 12/04/2007 17:10

nothing, I'm rubbish at chucking stuff out....hence my house is bursting at the seams

MrsBadger · 12/04/2007 17:10

one year is nowhere near long enough
esp for evening dresses etc

can't think of anything in particular I wish I'd kept though

deaconblue · 12/04/2007 17:34

I am ruthless, particularly with "fat clothes" whenever I get thin. I have regretted chucking out tonnes of size 14's about 3 times so far!

OrvilleRedenbacher · 12/04/2007 17:51

yes i agree
ithink htere s a lot of stuff i seme to haev chcieke di regret

a brilliant 1960s leopardskin short swing coat that i wore when i was a student. i lent it to my wee sister who ripped it and instead of getting it repaired i chucked it. i bitterly regret it about twice a year... some swing coats just make the world a happier place.

although oxfam sell a lot of their gear onto Africa, so i do sometimes amuse myself with the thought of some beautiful black woman swinging down the road in it, feeling all fabby and glammed up.

ouioui
loads of stuff I had when I was a teenager that I could really pull off now
imo

harpsichordcarrier · 12/04/2007 18:01

I generally pass my stuff to my sisters so I have the opportunity to snaffle it back if I change my mind though

AitchTwoOh · 12/04/2007 19:34

think of the happy african ladies, lapin, that's cheering.

SenoraPostrophe · 12/04/2007 19:34

none!

mind you, I have lots of clothing that dh wishes I'd chuck out. pah to the one year rule.

whoopsfallenoveragain · 12/04/2007 19:40

all the summer stuff I didn't think I would be wearing as I should have been getting bogger

whoopsfallenoveragain · 12/04/2007 19:40

or bigger even

brimfull · 12/04/2007 23:06

a fab pair of boden linen pink trousers, they looked shite on me but could have sold them on ebay,in fact I've chucked out or given to charidee loads of stuff I could've sold if I was able to do ebay.
Also a great vintage silk blouse, what was I thinking!

Wotzsaname · 12/04/2007 23:09

a Jaeger black evening dress that I got in a charity shop for £20 and wore once when I was younger and much slimmer!

It would be vintage....it was beautifully made.

Surfermum · 12/04/2007 23:10

The one year rule makes me feel faint. I have a real problem getting rid of any clothes.

LedodgyCheapEasterEggsAreASin · 12/04/2007 23:13

I had a mad clear out when we moved a few moths after I dd.I was a size 18-20 at the time and thought i'd never fit into my smaller clothes again. I have lost weight recently and am currently a size 14 and getting smaller. I keep thinking back to all the lovely jeans and tops ranging from size 10 -14 I gave to charity.

crikey my luminous yellow leg warmer and plastic orange bag in the style of a cheap laundry bin judging by my visit to town today!
