Would you wear these boots to work?

Or do they look informal? I wear neutral colour and have a capsule wardrobe. And the heels wouldn't affect my work.
However, I am unsure about the look. They don't hug my leg under the knee very well.(just a fraction wider but still).
So help me please. They are comfy and sturdy (Clarks). Can I get away with them? Workplace is more smart casual than formal. However, majority wears neutrals anyway.
Thanks for help Smile

Yes I would certainly wear them for work. I wear fitted knee high boots with very thick tights and knitted dresses. A scarf and a smart handbag adds any "smartness for work " needed.

Yes. I would.

That sounds good! I like the look and feel of them but couldn't decide on placing them in office-wear.

We have a smart casual dress code at work and boots like that would be perfectly acceptable. I wear my biker boots when it is really cold.

I was a bit worried about the shape of the heels as they are hardly gender-neutral despite being smart. But I thought I can get away with that as they are not too high.

I think they're absolutely fine for a smart casual office. What do you mean by them not being gender neutral?

MrsPestilence · 21/10/2017 09:51

You have a gender neutral dress code?

OuchLegoHurts · 21/10/2017 09:53

Gender neutral?? Why?

ShirleyPhallus · 21/10/2017 09:55

Gender neutral? What?

LoniceraJaponica · 21/10/2017 10:25

Why gender neutral?

It sounds a bit draconian. It brings to mind the blue work outfits the Chinese had to wear under Mao Tse Tung.
