Waterproof yet stylish boots - please help me find some!

I fear this has been done before but I’m stuck!

Desperately want some waterproof (or at least highly water resistant) casual boots. I’ve tried Sorel (too wide for my feet) and a selection of Barbour, Timberland, Ariat.
Was thinking some sort of Chelsea boot but they seem to slip off. Prefer zip to laces.

I’ve got fairly narrow feet and am only a size 3.5/4. Open minded as to length of boot but want to be able to wear with slim/skinny jeans and possibly also tights and skirts. I’m short too - 5’3”

Do you lovely lot have any fabulous suggestions of where I should look now please?? I mostly shop online but I do have some shops nearby.

Here’s hoping.... thanks in advance.

Try Ecco, Teva or Geox for properly waterproof.

Take a look at UGG.
They're not all suede slippers!

Joules have wellie Chelsea boots. Not the short wellie boots, but actual boots. Made of waterproof material.

Clarks have some Goretex boots - all quite chunky though like these

Sorry, very seldom post here not def not regular but those Joules ankle boot things are horrendous. Gave me very painful blisters, very hard and unforgiving. Went in the bin

I'm just shamelessly and selfishly bumping this for you OP.

Could have written this post myself.

Dubarry? Depends on your style

mrsmonkey14 · 17/10/2017 21:28

Thank you for the suggestions... will look into them and report back!
I want ones that are quite smart I think... but they need to be comfy too! Some of the proper waterproof ones look a bit too ‘hiker’ for me.

Have you tried Timberland? Their Chelseas are only pull on, but some of the long boots might suit. I have a pair bought around ten years ago that are waterproof leather and still going strong - just need the occasional polish.

I bought Ugg biker boots in black leather last year. I don't absolutely love them, but they are totally 100% waterproof for trekking back and forth to work in rainy Scotland.

Or these from Rockport (size 3.5 is in stock and very reasonably priced). I actually got the knee length version of these a few years ago and wore them constantly from tramping through snow in NYC to typhoons in Hong Kong. Totally waterproof, very comfy and smart enough to wear out/to the office. I would buy more if I could ever find them - and would have bought these ankle ones right now but they don't have my size (sob!)

I just bought some Tuffa rodeo boots, and I love them. I had Tuffa country boots before and they lasted for years - and I wore them constantly, was wading through mud in them, and really didn't take care of them at all. I would always recommend Tuffa, they are really good quality.
