Molton brown soap- hygienic?

So we’ve had Molton Brown hand soap in the bathroom and kitchen for a few months but I’ve just through- I’ve never seen anywhere that it kills bugs.

I’ve also got carex in the kitchen and if my hands are visibly dirty I use that. However, I mainly want to know I’m not going to kill my family if I wash my hands with molton brown soap after handling something like raw chicken?

it's fine. antibac household soap is a con, really. it can't contain enough antibac to be really effective or it would strip the skin iff your hands

what soap does is removing the oils and dirt bacteria feeds on.
as long as you lather long enough (about 30 sec) before rinsing off it will work.

Anti bac soaps are a pretty new thing. Hot water and normal soap is absolutely fine. Don't be conned into thinking that we must anti bac everything in our homes

Proper soap works better than anti-bacterial sprays at removing bacteria. Why have we got to the state that people don't know soap removes bacteria? What do you think they are for?

I think soap is soap; it's not really what sort you use but how you wash your hands that makes most difference to hygiene.

We have MB in all bathrooms plus next to the kitchen sink and none of us has had a tummy bug since August 2014 despite having pets, working in schools and owning two revolting DCs.

Soap is naturally anti bacterial by its nature, you don't need anti bac.
