Really need some moisturizing hair products

My hair is pretty dry at the moment. It's not breaking or anything, it's just really dry and a little brittle. I got some highlights a few weeks ago so I expected it to be a bit dry, so I just used my normal shampoo and conditioner that I've been using for over a year and my hairdresser also uses.

It's a pretty loaded protein shampoo and conditioner, so I'm thinking some moisturizing hair products might help my hair better. Can anyone recommend any moisturizing hair products? (Preferably protein free or as minimal as possible). I also only wash my hair once a week (might sound gross to some people but it's all mine needs). Would really love some suggestions :)

WomblingThree I adore Cantu products! They also smell amazing. Wish more people knew about them. I know they're marketed towards people with 'natural' hair, but they work for lots of hair types I find

Ooh yes the L'Oréal extraordinary oil (dumb name). My hair is like straw but I use it daily and it's really helped (it actually swishes now rather than rustles!). Less full too.

I was recommended it on here.

Yes extraordinary oil is great stuff.

I started taking Philip Kingsley pk4 protein pills (and put my helmet on, dum di dum). Not sure if that's helping but I need the extra protein anyway.

Will get the extraordinary oil too. Bought some pure argan oil on amazon since people were suggesting morrocanoil but its really pricey, and it's essential the same thing without all the silicones. I don't mind silicones tbh though.
