Having a clear out and starting again...

I was looking through my clothes this week and realised that I don't even like half of the things that I own! I think I've been stuck in a style rut since having DS and not feeling confident enough to wear the type of clothes that I would have done before having my slight mum tum. Almost everything I've been buying is either baggy fit, too formal for daytime or miles too "old" for me. I've not got a single pair of jeans that fits me properly either.

So I'm having a clear out and replacing anything that I regret buying. But what shops are there that have simple, affordable, age appropriate clothes? (I'm mid-20s) Where sells good quality jeans? And where has nice underwear?

Depends on budget but river island have nice jeans - or I quite like Tesco!

I don't mind paying more for things that I really like or things that are going to last but I think I would normally pay around £20 for a top and £30 for jeans.

I've been buying a lot more M&S and Next lately. I'm young enough to get away with 'young shops' but find the cuts in these shops more flattering and practical with children. I'm not carrying baby weight any more, but I'm a bit 'softer' than I was, so things that are cut higher, have better quality material or have lining are much better for my new shape. That's not to say everything from there ticks those boxes, but denim and dresses do. I like to wear day dresses with boots.

I find I need a lot more variety of tops / tshirts. Most of mine recently are from New Look though I've found a few at George that look more expensive than they are.
