Cosmetic treatment for very wrinkled hands?

My hands are extremely lined and wrinkled. I'm 48.

My skin is extremely dry so I moisturise constantly. I have eczema (not the kind that flares up, just severely dry skin) but no moisturiser on earth makes a difference. Even the proper medical ones like Eucerin for severe skin conditions, neutrogena (the arctic fishermen one) or Flexitol hand balm.

The skin is also a lot thinner than usual due to the use of topical steroids when I was a child.

I heard something a while back (but can't remember the details) about some kind of treatment, injections I think, that could fill out the skin on your hands to make them look younger. Does anyone know about this or indeed, have you actually tried it?

Thanks in advance.

I can't help with the treatments you're asking about, but as a quick fix, have you tried mixing caster sugar and oil ( olive/ coconut/ whatever you have in the kitchen) and using it as a scrub? I'm nor sure if that would be suitable for your skin, but I have dry hands that are prone to eczema, and they always look and feel much better -far plumper and not flaky-after that treatment. It also helps any creams you put on afterwards to sink in.

Hyaluronic acid injections - you'd need to see a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon to do it, but it works by rehydrating the skin and retaining moisture. You get lots and lots of very shallow injections all over the backs of your hands. I've used it myself, as I also have old lady hands and I saw an improvement that lasted for about 9 months. I also have the injections around the mouth, eyes and nose, as well as the hyaluronic acid expander in my vertical wrinkles on my forehead. For me, it works.
