Cashmere/knitwear storage bag recommendations please

Over the summer we had a moth infestation in the house, I thought I had solved the problem but on opening my wardrobe to look for a jumper now that it's cooler, almost all my cashmere jumpers and other knitwear have holes all over them and the wispy remnants of moth eggs. Everything has been put in the freezer then washed and anything salvageable has been put back in the freezer for the time being.

My best jumpers were thankfully in white company storage bags that have a plastic window on the top so have survived the moth massacre. I'm kicking myself now for not buying more than two as they seem to be discontinued. Anyone have similar moth proof storage bags for knitwear? I can't afford to be replacing so many jumpers on a regular basis so need something to keep them in where they will be safe.

Any recommendations will be gratefully received, along with any ideas with what to do with 20 odd holey jumpers?

I saw your sad cashmere story on the other thread. We had a bout of moths the other year and I bought a pack of 100 gripseal plastic bags from Amazon (cost under a fiver), which I now use liberally. I pack each wool or silk item away separately in its own gripseal bag in the drawer.

During the summer I wasn't using most of the jumpers so I packed them all away (in their gripseal bags) in a zippy cloth bag, so they were doubly safe.

Bit of a faff, but no more holes.

I keep all my cashmere in ziplock bags, and store the lot in one of those big plastic Really Useful Boxes with the lids. It sits at the end of the bed with a throw over it.

Thank you both! Will have a look for the bags you've suggested. I'm so so pissed off that so many were ruined, bloody moths.

I bought some ziplock bags from Lakeland that are designed for this. Last year I had to chuck some good knitwear due to moths.

The other tip is not to put worn wool away. I admit I do that a lot because quite honestly it doesn't smell, especially if I've worn a vest or T under it. I don't wash cashmere after 1 wear. However, I am now going to put everything straight in a bag and zip it up.

I buy kitchen bags and wrap each one individually
