Make up mirror advice - long sighted

I've noticed my existing mirror (which is magnified but I'm not sure by how much) is increasingly not up to the job. I've also been wondering about one with a light source as our bathroom is quite gloomy in the winter months. Am worried am going to leave the house with eyeliner all over the place!

Ideally I want something that is portable (it doesn't have to be small, but I would like to be able to use it in different rooms).

Any advice on mirrors very welcome. What do other long sighted people do?

Babyliss have an illuminated mirror. I haven't tried it but it looks like something that would work for you. Boots also one similar for around £20. I have simply human mirror, its brilliant but I'm not sure its any better than the cheaper ones. The simply human one is chargeable so you can use it anywhere. They also make a smaller travel sized one.

Primark have a basically identical one for £12
