Can i fix this hem?

I have two lovely dresses and a linen jacket and on all three the hem has come down. I want to fix it but on inspection it looks as if the hem was stitched with invisible stitches. If I do it then it will never be subtle like it was. I know I can use wonder Web but my experience is that while it holds it it never survives the wash.

Would a seamstress be able to sort it? Any other ideas?

When you say invisible stitches do you mean a blind stitch where due to the method of stitching you can't see it on the outside? Because that can easily be redone (by anyone really):
If you use very well-matched cotton and the stitch only catches a couple of threads it will be fine. If you don't feel confident attempting it yourself any seamstress/tailor will be able to sort it and the cost should be minimal.

A tailor can re do invisible hems , or wonder web will work .

It's just a sewing technique, as arousingcheer says....would be easy for me to do, but then my DM was a fashion designer, so I've been sewing since I was knee-high. If you aren't confident with a needle then get it done professionally, but why not have a go yourself? If it doesn't look right it's easy to remove the stiching.

Yes, a seamstress will be able to do it for you.
