Black tie do - where on earth do I get a 'ball' dress?!

Please help! I don't remember the last time I was at a black tie event. It's a charity event held in a local-ish club and I'm looking for a full length dress with some sort of sleeve (not sleeveless). I'm petite too which doesn't help matters!

Have tried Asos. Anywhere else?

Flour length? I meant floor length Blush

I frequent alot of balls for charitys I am involved in as well as those of friends charities etc. As well as alot of hunt balls and I deffiantly think long is the way to go. It is not to say you cant have a spilt or show some skin but I think the majority of the length needs to be longer for sure.

Surprisingly - TK Maxx

Have a look at Adrianna Papell I think it is. I got one reduced to about £80 from over £200 in the frasers sale and it's lovely.

I got one off ebay for about £20! Brand new with tags. I did spend a tenner having it slightly adjusted, but even so...

Thanks all! Some good suggestions. I've seen loads of dresses I like but they're not petite and I know for maxi type dresses I def need petite.

I fell in love with a dress in asos and ordered it but it's about 1/2 and inch too small in the back. I'm gutted as it's gorgeous and I can't find the next size up anywhere.

I know someone said don't do black (and I'm normally not keen on wearing black ever) but black with some colour might be ok?
