Any seamstresses out there..?

I'm loving the fabric & print of this coat however it's a straight shape. I have huge boobs so not the most flattering shape for me. Does anyone know if this could be adjusted to give me a bit of shape at the waist..? TIA!

Probably, but for £200 I would want a coat that fits and flatters.

I would order it and take it to a tailor - return if they think not possible. It's amazing what can be achieved. My local (Polish) tailor took up sleeves on my winter coat at the shoulder so as not to lose the fancy button detail at the cuffs!

It can be done BUT I very much doubt it would look good. It is meant to look like that and is a coherent style. Look at the round neck.....not what you need with large boobs. You need a deep v with lapels and a fitted style.
Step away from this coat.

A belt?? I have a similar body shape to you. I wouldn't but this coat or buy a coat for £200 that needs altering. Fit is everything.

Technically you could put long darts in, though I would think it's not cut wide enough on the hem to balance this out. Also having a round neck and no collar would not be the right kind of style for a nipped in waist.

Plus it will cost you

Thanks everyone! I struggle every year to find a fitted coat to accommodate the chest, nothing fits waist & hips, & I don't suit the belted look...if anyone finds anything let me know! X
