Brilliant night cream has basically given me a new face

...in three days.

I can't recommend it enough. I don't sleep well (understatement) and usually look like I've been dug up.

This stuff makes me look dewy and fresh and bright and it's amazing. Honestly.

I've had enough disappointments over the years, so I don't recommend skin stuff lightly, but this stuff is bloody brilliant.

I almost daren't say what it is, because I've been accused of working for Marks and Spencer before (I don't. They wouldn't stock the shite clothes they stock on my watch, for a start).

It's Ultimate Sleep Cream. 22 quid for a decent size pot. Love it.

The top three ingredients are really nice and provide an excellent texture. It reads like a cross between a cream and a primer to create a blurring effect.

elephantoverthehill · 03/09/2017 18:34

May I be really rude and ask those of you, who get on with this cream and see results, which age bracket do you fit?

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 03/09/2017 18:35

It's a night cream, why the blurring effect at night?

MumBod · 03/09/2017 18:35

I'm 43 Smile

And it's not tested on animals 👍 BUAV approved .
Bonus .

elephantoverthehill · 03/09/2017 18:39

Thank you Mumbod, I am 10 years your senior but there may be hope for me yet. I bought a neck cream from M&S which I have been quite impressed by.

WhingyNinja · 03/09/2017 18:42

I'm 27 but have a 2 year old so am tempted Grin

MumBod · 03/09/2017 18:42

I think their Beauty Hall is really excellent, and their shoes and boots are pretty good too. Obviously the Food Hall is heaven.

So WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK is going on with the fucking clothes?

DS2 (17) and I were going round it last week pissing ourselves at the utterly shit womenswear.

If a 17 year old boy can tell they're crap...

Why do you rate it very very good Butterfly1975? I too suffer with spots still at 40 and am worried any new cream will bring me out in the blighters Hmm

Butterfly1975 · 03/09/2017 18:52

Silver I have dark circles even after a good night's sleep (!) and it genuinely made me look a million times brighter so I'd love to be able to use this stuff! I'm 42 and have to be really careful with face products due to breakouts. I do have really oily skin though!

Fourlittlethings · 03/09/2017 18:59

It is brilliant! I bought it about three weeks ago and noticed a difference in my skin after the first night ... plumper and those horrible creases which I woke with were gone! I was using Lancome Primordiale which was great but discontinued - this is a million times better!

Wonder whether they do an eye cream and what it's like?

Ktown · 03/09/2017 21:50

No idea about blurring at night but if you wake up looking good then I suppose that's good (?!?)

Lilmisskittykat · 03/09/2017 22:50

Oh I love a good recommendation thanks! X price wise it's worth a try !

What does it smell of?

APlaceOnTheCouch · 03/09/2017 22:57

I nearly picked up a little bottle of this last week. I wish I had now.

iknowimcoming · 04/09/2017 10:04

Maybe M&S have had to heavily invest in skincare as so many wrinkles are caused by the eyebrow-raising horror of their women's clothing - I agree with you Mumbod - it's been shocking for years - I don't why someone (or many people) haven't been fired over it! Thanks for the tip also Grin

MrJohnsonAteMyCustard · 04/09/2017 11:41

elephantoverthehill - What was the neck cream, if you don't mind my asking? I'm in the market for neck creams now....who knew a neck could look like this??

GaryBarlowsTaxReturn · 04/09/2017 11:55

This cream aggravated my acne (which was under control!). It had no discernible effect on the rest of my face.

PerUnaStubbs · 04/09/2017 12:42

I"m 43 with dry, sensitive skin and i absolutely love it - don't know about any blurring effect but I wake up with soft, smooth, glowy skin.

MorrisZapp · 04/09/2017 12:46

Sounds intriguing!

But what I don't understand is, if it's soooo good and totally works, why just wear it at night?

MumBod · 04/09/2017 12:56

It sits on the skin and is a bit shiny.

The idea is you wash it off in the morning. It wouldn't work under makeup.

Lonelynessie · 04/09/2017 13:08

I love it. Works well on brightening my dull skin.

JohnCheese · 04/09/2017 13:14

Can't see how it works in just a few nights. It does have niacinamide which might help with pigmentation and inflammation over time, but not in a few nights. Other than that can't see anything magic.

Has some shea butter too, probably not the best for oily/spotty skins.

Bombardier25966 · 04/09/2017 13:27

The top three ingredients are really nice and provide an excellent texture.

Hmm

Aqua =water.

Isododecane = an emollient, makes the product feel nice when you put it on.

Niacinamide = Vitamin B3, can have anti aging benefits. Can be bought from The Ordinary for considerably less.

It essentially provides a temporary brightness to the skin, but little long term benefit. Nothing wrong with that, but it is overpriced for what it is.
