Has anyone had this kind of 'work' done?

  1. Eyebrow tattooing?

Is it natural looking? Does it make you look forever heavy and 'photo-faced'?
Did it hurt? Did you have to hide away for a bit if it looked too heavy to start with?

  1. Teeth. Veneers or such-like. How much did it cost? Did it hurt? How long did it take?
  1. Botox for heavy grown lines. Would you recommend it? Can it be so subtly done so that people point and think "she looks nice and different - has she lost weight on her face?"

Any thoughts very welcome. I'm feeling old and saggy and tough around the edges and I have a very important wedding next year and want to feel and look my best.

What's your 11s ? Is it the mouth lines ?

KatyBerry · 04/09/2017 10:43

11s are the ones between your eyebrows - from squinting at a screen.

My DH didn't notice the first couple of times, and I told him after that. A couple of colleagues (who are good enough friends to ask if it was 'tox) asked if I had changed face cream. The good stuff is very subtle and you remain absolutely mobile. The badly done ham handed version is atrocious - one time I felt like i had a lead weight across my brow. And maintenance is fair enough, but annually or less seems to work ok for me - i'm not trying to erase anything and look ready for an HD camera, I just dont' want the lines to become more entrenched and look cross, and doing it infrequently works well for that. Just go for the very best person who has the greatest experience of working with underlying musculature rather than a beautician who's done a course

Sounds like a good plan to me , I like the natural look . I was also considering filler in some old acne scars . Does anyone have experience of this ? I've heard it's popular in celebs .

@WelshMoth

I went to a specific dentist for my veneers, I wanted a dentist who had a lot of experience in veneers rather than one who did mainly fillings, braces and whatnot and did veneers occasionally.

I went here (link below) and saw Mervyn Drurian
