Threading upper lip?

Today when I was getting my eyebrows threaded the woman asked me if I wanted my upper lip threaded. I said no. But should I have said yes? I usually bleach it, I'm a bit nervous about the 'regrowth' if I get it threaded. What do you think?

I threaded my upper lip and chin for 15 years. It never stopped hurting. Then I bought my lumea and my life changed. I would never put myself through that pain again. I still get my eyebrows threaded though.

And I don't believe the hair grows back finer with threading. It depends on what kind of genetics you have. My lip hair never grew back thinner and I've been threading my eyebrows for over 10 years and they still grow back thick. The only thing that's helped my hair grow back thinner is my Lumea.

I find the regrowth is exactly the same as it was before so you can have it done then never again or not for 3 months and it's not like shaving where it comes back thicker or anything.

I had it one once. It was agony!

Used to have mine threaded but now I swear by this... m.youtube.com/watch?v=_10lRurODcA Far more convenient and less expense. Don't need to wait for regrowth. Best thing ever - and NO it doesn't come back thicker.

And what about the old wives’ tale that hair grows back thicker after you shave? Obviously that’s a concern when you’re a woman thinking about taking a blade to your face. “It’s a common misconception that hair will grow in darker and coarser. Shaving does nothing to increase the density or quality of the hair,” Dr. Hale told me. “And with vellus hairs, you can’t do anything to change them. By nature they’re soft and fine, and shaving them won’t make them thicker and coarser.” Phew.

I've had it done 2 or 3 times, great results but eye wateringly painful although very quick. Epistick is great if you can inflict the pain on yourself.
My lumea though is working wonders and just about eliminated any regrow that now.
