I have spent all summer ill. I would really like to find a soft pink comforting thing to wear. I am sure I would feel much better then or at least comforted. Woolly is good or fluffy. I need to be able to order online.
Thanks

Lovely pink fluffy dressing gown for when it gets colder? Plus slippers and bedsocks. Or were you thinking more daytime ish clothes? Pink fluffy cardigan? Marks and Spencer's (hated on here I know) or John Lewis would have those kind of things.

How about a knitted poncho - I have last year's version of this Jigsaw one and pulled it out when I had an awful cold recently. It's very easy to throw on over things

Do you mean loungewear? If so, I think this robe is gorgeous.

They also have a matching camisole and shorts:

Nice pyjamas? I have a chronic illness and often struggle to get dressed. Mine are all Hatley. Hatley PJs Nice and thick, wash well and super comfy-plus cute prints. They do separates so you can mix and match with other tops to stop them feeling so "pyjamaey" iyswim. I hope you feel better soon, being ill is crap Flowers

This is where primark comes in. All manner of soft, snuggly things there you can fling in the washing machine or indeed the bin once you're better and never want to look at them again.

Crumbs1 · 29/08/2017 20:44

Research suggests ''ll clothes' are more likely to hinder recovery and getting up and dressed properly tends to improve recovery times.

Brora cashmere bed socks

White company plush hooded dressing gown

I have a jumpsuit from oasis that is like a really comfy babygro for grown ups. Not very cozy but nice for layering up with a big cardi on top

Tk maxx often have reduced cashmere stuff and you can order on line

unweavedrainbow · 29/08/2017 20:52

@Crumbs1 yes, but sometimes getting dressed uses up all your energy for the day. I don't know how ill the OP is-and tbh, getting dressed usually is better-but struggling into "day clothes" and then having to spend the rest of the day lying down due to pain and exhaustion isn't really worth it.

Crumbs1 · 29/08/2017 21:13

Indeed unweaved rainbow but sometimes lying around in nightwear saps energy too. Most hospitals would now encourage patients to get dressed as soon after major surgery as possible.

GinandGingerBeer · 29/08/2017 21:17

Give Next a go as you can get it next day delivery.
Hope you're on the mend soon, I ordered a load of stuff when I was in hospital for a month ages ago, gave me something to look forward to Smile

Fletcherl · 30/08/2017 06:10

Thank you so much everyone. That found like a big snuggle. What brilliant choices. I will order something later. I am getting up and dressed as much as possible but my lounge wear is getting so much wear.

Have you ordered anything yet OP?

I hope your snuggly goods will be with you soon, and that you're on your way to a full recovery Flowers
