Like Aveda damage remedy but cheaper?

Can anyone suggest a conditioner or treatment that can help my overly dry and frizzy hair? The only thing that has really worked is aveda damage remedy and I just can't afford it at the moment. My hair is dyed and is just far too dry at the ends even after a recent cut.
I've tried Aussie 3 minute remedy, a lush treatment and body shop rainforest butter but it's still awful.
I'm trying to avoid sulphate etc but am getting desperate. I've seen lots of things in tk maxx but have no idea if they are any good so am reluctant to buy.
Can anyone help?

Yes it is expensive but I am sorry to say that I have never found anything better (and I use it every other day on my bleached pixie cut) .. The best place i have found to buy is Look Fantasic online.. sign up and they often send you 20% offers.

The only other thing I have tried which is good is Charles Worthington Moisture Seal leave in conditioner,(from Boots), but leaves your hair looking hard and 'spiky'if you have a short cut.. Dont know what it would be like on longer hair.. its good but I do prefer the Aveda now.

Thanks for the link to that site, it might make it doable. The aveda makes such a difference I may just have to bite the bullet if I can't find anything else

Superdrug coconut water hair mask. In a tub. Cheap and I use it on my curly dry hair which I straighten a lot

I am another who uses it every second day - I alternate with Liz Earle - and while it is criminally expensive, it is definitely the best. I go to an Aveda salon for my cuts and they sell travel size versions - might that be an option in the short term?

This sounds like good stuff , is it the treatment or the daily repair OP?

I need something....!

Laska5772 · 24/08/2017 23:18

I use the daily repair maude . It is good but expensive,, However on my (short) hair a pea sized amount works fine. a tube lasts some months ..

sign up for Aveda online under a different email and get 15% off your "first" order for this months fix!! Grin

This stuff is ridiculously £, I spent about £80 on a massive bottle of it and it'sso funny sitting there next to my £2 Herbal Essences.

I need it after I bleached my hair 3 x in a day and then dyed it. Most of the top of my hair layer fell out so I had to step up the treatment of my hair to beyond whatever cheap and cheerful Superdrug offered.

You could also try protein treatments. The best is said to be Apoghee, get it off Amazon, smells like vomit, but does seem to do some good.
