What to do about my feet?

I have always ensured my feet look nice in the summer and gone for regular pedicures/manicures. Last year I noticed one of my big toenails had a creamy look down one side and I'm pretty sure through googling that it is a fungal infection 😳😳 I immediately bought some Scholl fungal treatment but it doesn't seem to have worked. I'm on holiday at the moment and obviously haven't had a pedicure since I realised I had the infection. My feet have gone to pot from not having pedicures and Im so ashamed. I'm rubbish at shaping, looking after the cuticles etc. I had a manicure before I came away so the nails on my hands look lovely but my feet are a disgrace. I've never had feet like this!

Is there anything you lovely ladies can suggest that I can do to help my feet look lovely again and also get rid of this horrible infection. Does it mean a trip to the Dr?

Maybe try a podiatrist? I see one for a reoccurring corn and cracked heels and it really helps keep my feet in good condition. Much better pedicure than I get in any salon too.

Maybe get hold of some tea tree oil from the chemist/pound shop, and put a couple of drops on morning and night. It's anti-fungal IIRC.

The treatments won't make already infected nail look normal I'm afraid. Keep using the scholl until it's completely grown out.
If it's getting worse rather than better see your gp. But you usually have to send clippings to a lab to confirm it before they will give the tablets. The tablets also wont get rid of what is already there.

Yes visit a podiatrist for a proper medical pedicure.

Go to a chiropodist for laser treatment.

Use the tea tree oil as well.
