Blow dry stuff- anyone use?

I've never used anything for years just shampoo and conditioner. Did try Aveda thickening spray but it's a bit sticky.
I find my hair looks slightly fly away and not smooth after drying it.
It's shoulder length, straight, slightly texturized bob. So I don't want a 'styling spray' as in making it straight or curly. After the hairdresser has done it, it always looks lovely and shiny so where am I going wrong? I go to an Aveda salon but tbh don't want to pay Aveda prices for a styling spray.

There are loads of spray on shines on the market and they are generally inexpensive. They will smooth down flyaways and make your hair feel smoother. If you go to Boots or Superdrug you will probably find some in the travel minis section so you can try them out without spending too much. I like the Lee Stafford one.

I adore "Queen for a day" superstyling spray from Tigi - it's available from Amazon and lots of online retailers. It's like a spray mousse, very fine spray and it's lightweight without tackiness. I really notice the difference when I don't use it. I've tried loads until I found this one, it's around £10/12 for a huge tin of it and lasts ages.
