Recovery from accident #1:skin

I had an accident in May and since then have been pretty much sat on my arse. I have some more surgery to come but I am starting to force myself to look forward (fake it until you make it n all that). Can't shave my own legs, blow dry my hair, and have have piled on weight but putting those to the side for the mo. My skin is awful! Very oily with new spots every day on cheeks, chin, neck and chest, mostly dramatically yellow but about 1/3 the underneath slightly painful ones. I think I can tackle that one and I know it would make me feel nicer. Have you got any suggestions for products or treatments?

Background info - I'm 49, usually unproblematic skin not sensitive or particularly oily or dry. Went through menopause undramatically, night sweats and grew a beard but didn't kill anyone. Active outdoorsy lifestyle (until May). I like a hot cloth cleanser and then a Vit E type moisturiser.

What do you think?

Hi. I had an accident a year ago & spent the best part of 7 months sat on my arse, so you have my sympathies. I can't help with your skin questions but I can recommend the Glamoriser Detangle & Dry hairdryer if you are still able to raise one arm to head height - I lost the use of my dominant arm I couldn't blow dry my hair with a brush & hairdryer, but this is a dryer & brush combined & works well to blow dry my fine frizzy hair after a bit of practise. My arm works now, but still using this dryer as I prefer it.
Sorry if that's no use to you, just thought I'd mention it just in case - it made such a difference to me to be able to do the basics I'd previously taken for granted.
Best wishes for your recovery - hope you feel better soon.

Oh ta Popstoat never heard of one of those, I'll go and look it up.

Thanks for the good wishes, I'm in that place where I feel like this will go on forever (it won't) and so miss the simple things, like, yes, washing and drying my hair!
