Bra interventionists - please help me find a comfy bra that stops my boobs from wandering off!!

Hello, hoping for some advice on styles as I'm really stuggling - have never found a comfortable bra despite self measuring and being measured all over the flipping place from Bravissimo to Rigby and Peller. Things are getting worse since breastfeeding two kids and putting on weight! I'm just about to return another 12 bra

I'd say I'm a 28K-30JJ (depending on brand and style as much as anything - probably closer to 30 as the majority of the 28s I tried on earlier wouldn't do up Blush.

The issue I have is that I am very narrow between my boobs so find a high gore really painful - but with a lower gore, my boobs start off the day in a bra that seems to fit and give a nice lift and shape with the cup lying flat. 2 hours later the boobs are making a break for it in the middle and I have quad-boob! I've just had a quick hunt around on Brastop - I can't go any bigger than the 28K as they don't have anything!! And when I've tried a 30K previously, the cups have been baggy.

Any recommendations for other brands to try? I've currently got curvy kates and a couple of flirtells bras, the first ones of which fitted OK but the new one don't very well. Panache I've never found comfortable, nor Freya. Has anyone ever sewed in silicon strips (like a strapless bra) to keep boobs in check?!

Thank you so much in advance!

Have you tried the Panache Tango from Btavissimo? I'm a JJ and it is great. Comes up quite high to stop wandering. It's very sturdy

Oh scrap that, just realised you don't like Panache! In their defence, they need a lot of breaking in an stop creaking / become comfier after half a dozen wears

Not very expert myself (I think I have strange non-conformist breasts) and am at other end of the spectrum (42E). Have you tried ordering one bra in several different sizes to compare? That has worked for me. I like Curvy Kate. I'm not sure which styles you've tried but wonder if a non padded plunge such as Daisie would solve the making a break for it problem? I also quite like Fantasie bras - I find the gore not too wide and the cups a good fit even in fuller cup styles. I like the style Penelope and the one with the slight stripe in the material - maybe Lois?. I think they are a good brand to try if you like Curvy Kate. If you can go up a back size and down a cup size (so equal to same size with wider back) the gore would be slightly shorter.

Just to add I can't wear padded styles at all and I'm smaller in the cup than you. There never seems to be enough room in the cups. I can imagine if I could actually get them fastened there would definitely be quad boob!

Give the Freya Hero a try in a 28J- the centre is much lower but the straps are quite central so there's less opportunity for escape! It's roomy and also looser in the band than Panache so you might get away with it.

Thanks for the replies all - maybe I should try panache again and give them a bit more of a go and also a fantasie bra or two - there's rarely much choice at this size unfortunately especially in the discounted section! I usually order at least three sizes in each style but often find none fit quite right Confused

Plunge bras tend to be the worst style for escaping boobs Blush
