Help! I need the perfect bra. 32F, non-padded and mega comfortable

Chocolatepudding85 · 13/08/2017 21:37

I've spent hours researching bras online and am so bored of it. I have just stopped breastfeeding - goodbye nursing bras - and after 20 months in non-wired bras nursing bras (worn constantly while breastfeeding and pregnant), I had forgotten how uncomfortable my ordinary bras are. They fit great (well, one does!), it's just the structure and underwire and... ugh.

Anyone recommend the most comfortable bra ever?!

But one that doesn't create a uni-boob or a boob-shelf?

So a really, really comfortable bra that also separates and lifts bigger boobs? Or do they not exist?!

(I would spend almost ANYTHING. I'd wear it every day, so it'd be worth it.)

BobbinThreadbare123 · 13/08/2017 21:39

Also following - 32GG/H here!

Freya deco

TheVicarOfNibbleswicke · 13/08/2017 21:46

Fantasie 6500. Functional and very supportive. I'm a 36G.

Aeroflotgirl · 13/08/2017 21:53

I have Freya soft up bras and Royce, they are wonderful. I am a 32FF

MiaFarrowsWheelbarrow · 13/08/2017 22:00

Try www.molke.co.uk I am 30ff and have just received my first bra from them, fits like a dream and sooooooo comfy. Not sexy but very quirky, if you like that kind of thing. Lots of great reviews on Facebook and they even have their own fanclub on there. I think they were initially marketed as a nursing bra but I'm certainly not breastfeeding anymore and neither do lots of their fans by the looks of things.

Buttercunt · 13/08/2017 22:02

I'm a 32F and all my bras are these Panache ones now:

NothingTraLaLa · 13/08/2017 22:03

Fantasie Rebecca. I am the same size as you and it gives a nice shape rather than a cleavage, and is really comfortable.

Fluffywhitepompoms · 13/08/2017 22:15

I agree with the above...panache from bravissimo

KanyesLunchbox · 13/08/2017 22:21

Debenhams own range. Love it.

Izzadoraduncancan · 13/08/2017 22:30

Just to second Kanyeslunchbox... have those bras in the 32FF and they are my absolute favourites. Can I just say to avoid the dreaded uni boob and extra lumps etc try on one size up and down from what you expect - cup and chest.

Bombardier25966 · 13/08/2017 22:30

Panache Tango II. I've gone from a 38GG to a 32F (weight loss) and it's still my favourite. Also works well if you've got any pesky back fat Wink

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 13/08/2017 22:35

Depends what shape you are! If wide root, Cleo Marcie.

TheBitterBoy · 13/08/2017 22:40

Debenhams, these, I have them in four colours, very comfy and inexpensive.

Feelingmumsyinmorewaysthanone · 13/08/2017 22:45

I recently went to Marks to be measured and fitted. The fitted part I didn't realise meant the lovely woman told me which type of bra I should wear/avoid. So for years I've been doing it wrong! I'd recommended a trip to get that advice if nothing else. What a difference it's made to me!

Myfanwyprice · 13/08/2017 23:47

Figleaves sell a range called just peachy, I am a 34g and really recommend their balconette bras, so comfortable and give a really nice shape; often on offer too.

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 13/08/2017 23:52

Seconding Just Peachy, only go up to a G I think but cheap and a nice shape.

marriednotdead · 14/08/2017 00:03

In case it's not obvious from the varied answers here, there is no single perfect bra because everyone's breasts are different shapes.

Is there any particular bra brand that seems to work for you? For the last decade or so, Freya bras have been the best option for me but even then it's not everything they make.

PickAChew · 14/08/2017 00:11

Recommending one is a bit pointless, really, since we're all different shapes. I do well with some Curvy Kate and Freya balconettes but Panache simply have wires in all the wrong places and make me look even more weird and lumpy than usual.

Laquila · 14/08/2017 09:45

Fantasise Rebecca is very comfortable and separates nicely. I'd say if you're looking to avoid bood shelf/mono boob, then you probably need a fairly full cup style that separates well.

Chocolatepudding85 · 14/08/2017 09:47

Thanks all! I will try these bras! Yes I'd noticed the responses are varied. I still hope for that one, magical bra....

Trouble is, every time I go for a fitting, I end up with something that SEEMS great and certainly fits really well, but is so uncomfortable at the end of a day wearing it. It's all the wires and structure required for my size, I think!

I had seen these "wireless wire" bras, but the reviews weren't great. Anyone try one?

Never tried any of the brands you recommended, though, so will definitely order a bunch to try! Thank you so much!

Cleo by Panache for me.
Once you find a brand/style you like you can often find at a reasonable price on Amazon & Ebay.

Eastpoint · 14/08/2017 09:49

Chantelle & Prima Donna work for me. Expensive but a good shape (fairly high natural breasts).

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 14/08/2017 10:28

Where have you been fitted?

Chocolatepudding85 · 14/08/2017 21:39

SchnitzelVonKrumm - both M&S and Bravissimo. Though not since before I had my baby. Put me off going back to get measured again as I always end up leaving with something I don't like (but think I like... until I wear it all day!).

I should try again.

Perhaps I've been lured into comfort by wireless nursing bras for two long. Sigh! I want shape AND comfort Smile - I am going to try these suggestions! My dream bra may be here! Haha
