Dry, old looking under eyes - help!

As the message says really, I need something for under my eyes. They are looking so old. I'm 38, skin is pretty good and no actual crows feet yet so I'm hoping this is just dryness, but I am getting milia too. It's making me look so old.

I use Elemis eye cream and serum but it's really not doing anything. I had a bout of eczema around my eyes until the last month or so and now left looking haggard. I don't get much sleep (10 month old and 3 year old), have a fair amount of stress and drink too much coffee.

Anyone have any wonder tips on how I can get this under eye skin looking better? I've started trying Vaseline but don't hold out much hope!

It could be a sign of dehydration. Try to up your intake of fluids for a few weeks to see if it makes any difference.

No7 eye cream is good. The anti wrinkle one. I'm 36 and have been using it for a few months. Seems better.

I swear by this stuff, you'll notice a difference within a week. I used to have black circles and saggy looking skin under my eyes. A bit pricy but you need the smallest amount. A pot lasts around 9 months I think. Shop around on the internet as there are often offers on in shops like johnlewis. Only buy from high street retailers though as there are fakes on Amazon etc!

I got a little pot of that Bobbi Brown eye cream in my Birchbox.
It is ultra moisturizing and a tiny dot really does go a long way. The cost though! Shock
I'm still sceptical about eye creams though, as if they are too rich, I can get puffy.
I think my hyaluronic, and retinol serums have made more of a difference around my eyes tbh.

Also, boring, but true - cut down on the coffee, and up the water! Wink

I could have written your post. Upping water does make a real difference.

I found caudalie eye elixir made a difference. You can order samples from feel unique before you order a full size.

I second the Bobbi Brown it's brilliant! Only thing that's worked for me and it lasts ages

Oh great about Bobbi Brown eye cream, I think I may have used it years and years ago, have a vague memory of thinking it was good but was young then so anything would have been good! Has great reviews and sounds promising so think I'm going to give it a try. I've been using almond oil at night for a few days and think there's a small improvement. Will also check out that sample too. Got to get this sorted, surely these wrinkles can't be here to stay!! Confused

Good advice about the water, I know I need to drink more, unfortunately coffee sustains my life ATM but I have recently cut out fizzy drinks in the week. Will make an extra effort, the rest of my skin is pretty good but this is making me look old Sad
