Bridesmaid makeup - foundation or not??

I'm on bridesmaid duty next month and can't decide what to do about makeup! I don't really wear foundation any more, just tinted moisturiser and concealer, so when I do wear foundation it just looks so heavy. So, do I go with what I usually wear, feel happier on the day but risk looking shiny/not as good as the others in photos, or go with foundation, be less comfortable on the day but know photos will be better? And if I do the latter, any recommendations for foundations that don't look heavy and work well in photos - I was thinking Armani Luminous Silk / the new DW Water one as starters...

I only wear tinted moisturiser and have been a bridesmaid twice in the last few years. I wore my usual make up, with a little bit of eye shadow and some lippy. I look like a drag artist in anything heavier!

Stick with the usual but maybe add a little extra concealer to any shadowy bits and add some translucent powder to give it some staying power and to keep shininess at bay.

Just in case you wanted to give one a try, I really recommend Illamasqua's Skinbase. It's like the original BB cream but gives full coverage. It's impossible to muck it up or get it cakey-looking. Get colour matched in store though as the colours and tones vastly differ

Oh and if you use a powder, make sure it's one that doesn't give 'flash back' on photography so you don't get the dreaded white patches

Thanks all, normal + powder (which I own and feel silly to have not thought of!!) seems to be the way to go! (though I'll obviously try the Illamasqua too, just in case...)
