Eyelashes coming out with tubing mascara?

Just wondering if it's just me or does Tubing mascara damage/weaken your eyelashes? I've noticed some eyelashes on the cotton wool a few times when I'm removing my mascara& I don't know if it's me being too observant & this happens with all mascara or if the tubing mascara actually causes it? Has anybody any ideas?

No idea, but I get the same too. Never use it any more and don't understand why so popular. (My sister feels the same.)

Sorry not to be of any help, but I do agree!

I've been using Blinc for over 10 years and never lose eyelashes, well no more than the usual amount

Have you tried wetting your face & eyes & using your fingertips to remove the mascara? I use tubing mascara, have done for years and my lashes don't fall out.

Are you certain it's lashes and not just the mascara itself coming off. It does come off in large eyelash shaped chunks.

Thanks all! It's definitely lashes, I can see the tubes from the mascara too but I notice it with the tubing mascara rather than any other. I use cotton pads soaked in warm water & just wipe it away. I'm pretty careful as I wear contact lenses so I try not to get any in my eyes or drag too much.

Are you sure? It really looks like eyelashes when you remove the tubing mascara.

I use tubing, and this only happens if I tug/wipe at it without using sufficiently hot water to soften and "melt" it off the lashes. Don't think I would try to get it off with cotton pads - I'd expect them not to be hot/wet enough to get it off properly.

What works for me is: cleanser on whole face, then hot washcloth over face to sort of steam it for a few moments, and then gently wipe everything away. Lashes seem intact after this.

Yep, the tubes are thicker & darker and the lashes are just really fine & a lighter shade. Would it be possible that they come out with regular mascara too but I've just happened to notice it with the tubing mascara? (I'm quite liking the smudge-free lookGrin)
