I like this color, but is this fine or is it too much like the famous dress?

I can't see what's really wrong with the dress - it's just a bit boring?

See, I think it would be quite chic in navy or charcoal.

But in that colour, I'm afraid it just screams 'The M&S Blancmange Dress'.

It was only a tongue in cheek comment to why Boden is so expensive. Not a dig at wearers of Boden, I have some bags and dresses. And it really is expensive at it's pretend RRP ..... no one EVER on Mumsnet says they buy Boden without the disclaimer "but not without a discount code". I honestly think Johnnie looked at Dominos Pizza and The Bodyshops marketing policy's and thought "hey that'll work with clothes too".

The Boden dress in the op is definitely the sort of thing that will look great if you're the right length and shape for it.
