I need a cleanser, but I have a very specific set of requirements.

I don't use makeup, but I do use sunscreen or moisturiser, and I get a sweaty head and face. I'm early 50s and, on the whole, have good skin. It's just very sensitive because of my allergies.

I find Simple products too harsh (except, oddly enough, their exfoliating facial wash - but I don't want to exfoliate several times a week!).

I need a cleanser that:

• is fragrance-free. Not just artificial fragrances, all fragrances. This includes essential oils.

• has no bee products in it. No honey, beeswax, royal jelly or propolis.

• has no coconut products in it. Frustratingly, I can use coconut oil sparingly, but commercial preps generally have far too much for me to tolerate.

• is SLS-free. I could possibly compromise on this.

• is not exfoliating.

• can be used in the shower or bath.

Does such a cleanser exist?

The Clinique tto is;

Ethyhexl palmitate
Carthamus tinctorius oil (safflower)
Caprylic triglyceride
Sorbeth 30 tetraoleate
Polyethylene
Peg 5 glyceryl
Triisosterate
Water
Tocopherol
Phenoxyethanol iln30654

A tub lasts me three months used twice a day & double cleansing at night.

I've looked at cloths in the shops, but the feel of microfibre cloth makes my skin crawl. It may be different once they're wet, so maybe I ought to grit my teeth and take the plunge!

I have a big tub of aqueous cream that I use for most cleansing purposes. It cost about £1.50 from Savers, but you can get "nicer" ones eg from Waitrose. You need to check they are SLS and paraben free though as some contain these ingredients. Epaderm cream is the one I was originally prescribed and it's great but relatively expensive.

They are not really a microfiber, they are much softer, for £3.99 it has to be worth a go

Dermalogica special cleansing gel is amazing!! Not used the other cleansers personally but heard good reviews about them all : )
