Brazilian blow dry?

Has anyone had one? If so would you recommend it.

I've got quick thick hair. My hair looks nice when I've curled the ends or used straigheners but if I don't my hair is puffy. Would a Brazilian blow dry help?

I have it dine twice a year - my hair sounds the same as yours. Mine is v thick and naturally curly. Makes such a difference - normally would have to blow dry and then straighten. With treatment i can leave to dry overnight in bed and then just run the straightners through once and not even have to section hair.

Fab and for me def worth the cost. I have a lady who comes to my house. Hth x

I read the title and visualised a beautician blow drying a fanjo GrinBlush

I haven't had one, I would like to try one. My hair is thick and naturally is very wiry/loose curls. Bloody awful natural

I'd love one of these too, could someone explain how they work? Does it use perming solution or something similar?

Considering one at the moment - can I ask if they improve or ruin the health of the hair? My hair is really processed and breaking off and a new hairdresser said a keratin blow dry would improve the quality of the hair - do you think that's true? Don't want to add any more damage to it.

I used to get them done regularly, not any more. Beware what one of my subsequent hairdressers called "the heroin effect". They're quite addictive because the first one is amazing, but then it never works quite as well again...

I've had them a few times over the years. I've got THICK, frizzy, wavy/curly hair. Make sure you get a good one. Some aren't as powerful. My hairdresser is Brazilian and brings it back from there. Takes no prisoners. I have to dry my fringe under or else it's poker straight. Love it.

Thank you, for all your replies. I'm seriously considering it.

Can you still curl your hair after? (I realise that sounds a bit odd but if I curl the ends of my hair I have to use the straighteners first to get the rest looking smooth)

Oooo heroine effect sounds dangerous as they're not cheap!

make sure you use a reputable hairdresser with good feedback, my sister had her hair absolutely destroyed with this treatment (google hair burned brazillian blowdry, you'll see what I mean)
