What are the best Body Shop products?

What are the Body Shop's best products? I'm interested in facial skincare in particular - cleansers, masks, serums, etc.

I have dry and slightly sensitive skin and am 36 and interested in anti aging!

The camomile cleansers, butter and oil. Have used these for the past couple of years. Both excellent but the oil cleanser leaks when travelling.

gaggiagirl · 18/07/2017 22:23

Camomile cleansing butter. Absolutely amazing stuff.

Esssss · 18/07/2017 22:36

I second the camomile cleansing butter. And also the vitamin e moisturiser.

BusterGonad · 18/07/2017 22:41

I personally found washing off the Camille cleansing balm stripped my sensitive skin. I like the Aloe Vera day, night and eye cream. I only use creamy cleansers with damp cotton wool pads to remove them.

oeufdepaques · 18/07/2017 22:43

The spf 50 skin défence cream. Fine to be used on top of your regular face creams. Very light. To be used every day esp if you're interested in anti aging.

Their Monoi Oil is a lovely product. It's a dupe for the Elemis Monoi based oil. Smells and works exactly the same. Lovely stuff. About, dunno, £20 a bottle (never on offer).

Another post for the camomile skin range - I love using the balm and wiping it off with a hot flannel

LoniceraJaponica · 18/07/2017 22:48

I third the Camomile Cleansing Butter. I have normal/combination skin and it suits it very well.

Matte liquid lipstains

MrsT2007 · 18/07/2017 22:54

Bit in love with the mojito shower gel at the moment. Lovely in the hot weather

FerretsAreFeminists · 18/07/2017 23:04

Their body butters are just divine. I never used to be a fan as they're quite thick and heavy but they've grown on me and I really like them now.

I also like the almond milk and honey bubble bath. It makes nice bubbles, smells gorgeous and is so moisturising.

FerretsAreFeminists · 18/07/2017 23:06

If it's face masks you're interested in, the seaweed one is good. The warming mineral mask is also nice.

Pupsiecola · 18/07/2017 23:20

Almond Milk & Honey shower gel. I have very sensitive skin. It leave it feeling silky soft and doesn't irritate at all. Going to try the bubble bath after reading this thread!

Thanks, these are great recommendations! I really appreciate it.

Has anyone used the Vitamin C range?

OP posts:
Nettletheelf · 19/07/2017 09:36

I was underwhelmed by the vitamin C range, but I really rate the bouncy sleep mask.

April241 · 19/07/2017 09:41

Camomile cleansing butter - the oil was awful on my skin but the butter is amazing. I have dry and sensitive skin too by the way.

I also use most of the vitamin E range, daily lotion with SPF, serum, essence lotion, the sorbet and the eye cream in the tube.

The vitamin C liquid peel is fab too but I only use it once a week.

TittyGolightly · 19/07/2017 17:14

None if you're a Nestle boycotter.

TittyGolightly · 19/07/2017 17:14

(And if you're not, you should be.)

Botanicbaby · 19/07/2017 17:23

the ones in the pink packaging are okay - skincare, is it vitamin E or C?

though perhaps a little too perfume-y but they do the job.

i know not facial care but the hemp hand cream is really very good indeed.

LoniceraJaponica · 19/07/2017 18:54

It's vitamin E Botanic.

While I don't agree with Nestle's ethics I am not going to boycot the Bodyshop. Sorry Golightly

TittyGolightly · 19/07/2017 19:01

Makes no sense. Confused

LoniceraJaponica · 19/07/2017 19:06

In what way?

TittyGolightly · 19/07/2017 19:08

"I hate that they kill babies and don't consider water a human right, but their face cream is just amazing!"

LoniceraJaponica · 19/07/2017 19:09

Do they still market formula to third world countries in spite of the negative publicity that has generated?

TittyGolightly · 19/07/2017 19:10

Yes.
