Breast Enlargement Advice

HDF44 · 18/07/2017 13:30

Hi,

First time on here, but could really do with some advice with regards to breast enlargement. I live just outside London and have been considering it on an off for years. It's 'sad' it's for vanity and confidence reasons (I am starting to see a counsellor so maybe that will help). I'm at a point in my life (mid forties) when I am very conscious of my saggy boobs (damn you breast feeding!!) and am recently single. But does anyone know how to find a reputable surgeon or does anyone know of a brilliant one (and those that are not so brilliant)?

Thanks guys
xx

I would recommend Dr Carver at Holly house in Essex, he did mine 6 years ago and they still look good

WeyHay · 18/07/2017 20:50

A good bra, and a personal trainer? To develop and tone your pectoral muscles? Why anyone would undergo a GA and pain and scarring is beyond me ....

Mamagin · 18/07/2017 20:53

Breast feeding has nothing to do with saggy boobs. Second what Weyhey says, and false boobs always look as if beach balls have been rammed in to your upper torso.
Better spend the money at Rigby and Peller, and having fun.

This chap is very good, he is a Consultant at the Royal Marsden specialising in breasts and has a private practice operating out of Harley Street and Gatwick Spires. The Spires group does a good package payment thing where the costs are fixed regardless of the aftercare etc. required which makes everything a bit more relaxed.

PollyPerky · 18/07/2017 21:16

Wey & Mamaginthat's not really necessary.

Deflated, empty sock boobs cannot be perked up by a personal trainer and a bra, FFS.

Scarring is not noticeable. Not had it done myself but have seen photos and the scar is very much under the boob and good ones look natural.

Sadly a lot of people are really negative on here about implants. It's a bit like asking on the wrong forum about co sleeping or baby carrying! Don't let the negative responses get to you, it is officially none of their business. A good surgeon will give you as saggy or as life-like a result as you like, if you chose to go all melon-chested Pamela Anderson then all power to you, it's your chest!

Nancy91 · 18/07/2017 21:22

My implants were done by Mr Khan at Transform in London. He is amazing. They don't look fake, they look and feel amazing.

You can't sort out your problem with the gym. I'm in there lifting heavy every day, I would know. Don't listen to the envious / rude people on here, if you get good implants you can't tell that they are implants, they just look like great perky boobs.

I had no body confidence and felt shit in clothes because of my tiny, saggy boobs but I'm so happy now and I wear whatever I want. Best of luck to you Smile

zippyswife · 18/07/2017 21:26

Those of you that have had it done can i ask how much it cost?

I was always so anti surgery for cosmetic reasons. But.... 3 dcs later and empty sock boobs and I would gladly go for it if I could afford it.

Just shows... you should never judge Wink

Breast feeding has nothing to do with saggy boobs

I'm all for BFing but this is nonsense. It absolutely does.

Where are you in the UK, OP? If you want a recommendation in the South West let me know.

manhowdy · 18/07/2017 21:36

Oh and as someone involved in the adult industry, I have seen more pairs of real life tits than most people have had hot dinners. I've only ever seen one girl who looked like she had 'beach balls rammed up her torso'. And I believe she asked for that look.

khajiit13 · 18/07/2017 21:41

Bf does not cause saggy boobs. Pregnancy causes saggy boobs. BF just gets a bad rep because your boobs are full of milk and they deflate when you stop BF so people associate it with BF. Had you never BF in the first place you'd have the same result, only sooner.

Go for it OP. Exercise won't hurt but it won't perk your boobs up either

Nancy91 · 18/07/2017 21:46

Zippy, £6k ish without an uplift (they were just very empty and small and they looked lifted after just having implants)

manhowdy · 18/07/2017 22:17

zippyswife my reduction and uplift (no implants) cost 4.5K if I recall. Friends who have teardrop implants have paid between 5-6K. I am not sure the cost of both an uplift and implants together. My boobs were very full but saggy. Friends' were not saggy but deflated.

I am so glad I did it (put it off for years). I now have beautifully symmetrical boobs that sit high on my chest and I bloody love them. I've had a baby since too, and they have survived intact Smile

doubleristretto · 19/07/2017 10:10

I think the fixed price procedure at Gatwick Spires is about £4,500 and Mr. James is just lovely. There are some places where you can get it for nearer £3000 but if you can possibly afford it I'd avoid them!

HDF44 · 19/07/2017 11:11

Thanks guys - I'm actually really touched at the time and effort you've taken to advise me. I think I'm going to wait until I've had a few more counselling sessions - I clearly have 'issues' with my appearance that I need to deal with, not helped by my 20 year relationship ending recently and being told by the person who I considered to be my best friend and soul mate that he no longer found me attractive and then going off with a stunning big boobed girl. His actions have obviously crushed me but on a positive note have highlighted I need to deal with my very poor body image. Sending love xx

I intend to get fat transfer done as soon as I've got the money. Costs about £6k+, and you only go up 1-2 sizes, but I prefer the idea of it to implants.

Girlywurly · 19/07/2017 11:37

Ps. Definitely worth waiting until you've dealt with the body image issues. FWIW, my breasts look pretty terrible, but I know they don't detract significantly from my overall sexual attractiveness, and they definitely haven't deterred some lovely men from wanting to be in a committed relationship with me.

WeyHay · 20/07/2017 08:33

I really hope the counselling works - it might be a lot cheaper and more long-lasting than surgery. And do more for your overall approach to life.

Because you know, there is NOTHING wrong with you. Your ex is a dick. Your body is not the problem - his brain and intelligence is!

BusterGonad · 21/07/2017 08:18

All the exercise in the world won't make saggy boobs perky! 😂

cathyandclare · 21/07/2017 09:03

I was left with spaniels' ears after two pregnancies. I weight trained and exercises, but if anything it made them look worse because I decreased my body fat. I'm a doctor and I researched and went to several consultations before eventually taking the plunge with this surgeon who i know personally, and trust.
Thoroughly recommend it, mine are small, not too overt and teardrop shaped. I would have gone even smaller but breast feeding and pregnancy had stretched by boobs, so it was either go a little bigger to refill them and provide uplift, or have a full uplift too.
