Should I buy pixi glow tonic?

I live abroad but am visiting U.K. at the moment. Saw Pixi Glow Tonic on sale in M&S today and remembered I'd heard it praised on here. Should I buy it? What will it do for my skin? I'm 36 and my skin is dry and slightly sensitive, usually I use the No. 7 Protect and Perfect range.

Also, are any of the other pixi products worth buying?

I've used it, and to be honest wasn't that impressed. I have dry, sensitive skin and use No. 7 as well. Nothing went wrong, I just didn't think it was worth the money.

Buy the freedom skin tonic from superdrug it's a perfect dupe and it's only £6. Worth a go.
My skin was dry and spotty but it's mostly blemish free, even toned, less lined and brighter now.

It made me blotchy, red, and greasy... yet dry. Hated it. But lots of people love it so if anyone wants a little barely used bottle let me know Grin

Thanks, everyone. Might try the superdrug one instead as I've liked their skin products in the past.

Noooo it's overpriced rubbish. Like PP said, get the Freedom one. It's on the Freedom makeup stand. It's changed my skin I'm about two weeks. I'm a massive skincare addict and I've never ever found something as cheap and effective as this.

It didn't suit me either. I use the REN clarimatte one that you can buy in M and S and have been very happy with it. Saying that, I might try the Superdrug one next.

I have dry and what was slightly sensitive skin - As a result of pixi glow tonic it's now incredibly sensitive and I've struggled with perioral dermatitis for the last year :(

I was only using it once every 3 days and for the first couple of weeks my skin looked great! Then it exploded with redness and dry patches.

I've since realised that my skin can't cope with glycolic acid based skin care (no matter how mild!). It's finally healed now and I'm doing much better with very occasional use of lactic acid products. As you have dry skin, maybe try The Ordinary's lactic acid 5% serum instead?

Agree with PP, nothing special. Not worth the £££'s to me.

It's a decent glycolic toner. I used to buy it until I came across Bravura which do a similar product for cheaper.

Couldashouldawoulda · 15/07/2017 14:51

I'm wading through it at the moment. It's ok, but I wouldn't repurchase. I had much better results with Alpha H Liquid Gold, which I had previously. M&S sell that too, I think.

Deathraystare · 15/07/2017 15:09

I rather like it but I have noticed I have large pores on my forehead (by my eyebrows) and either side of my nose so perhaps need to get something else?

LockedOutOfMN · 15/07/2017 17:20

Stupid question but what's a glycolic toner / glycolic acid? What is it intended to correct / do?
