Have seen recommendations for Calypso once a day can neither get a t locally nor online (Amazon have it but don't deliver it to my location). Trying to avoid P20 as many say it stinks and stains!! Any others please which will give the level of protection it states on the bottle?

Thanks

Having been on holiday for the last 2 weeks we have used P20 factor 50 throughout. My smallest is 4 and my son has vitiligo, I can honestly say it's the best sunscreen I've ever bought.

It does stain but only if you don't wait until it's dry..... which doesn't take long. It's not very greasy and I've not noticed a smell. Apply once and forget about it.

My smallest usually gets a rash from sun creams..... nothing at all from this.

Will be my go to from now on!

More Shock that's terrible! I just bought three bottles of it given the recommendations here!

Sadly, living in the back of beyond, I have no access to Aldi. And the £26 price tag on UltraSun in Marks put me off!

Thank you all

Always use Aldi.

I find the kids factor 50 from Aldi really sticky. (White bottle)
Do they do a less sticky version?

OutandIntoday · 10/07/2017 22:00

We use the clear nivea spray factor 50. Only one my dc will let me apply as they find the creams horribly sticky.

Sunsense is brilliant but for the last two years we have used La Roche Posay Anthelios - the fine spray/mist factor 50 is the easiest to apply.

I use the Ultrasun family 30 on all of us. It's cheaper - Look Fantastic have it for £15.95 with 20% off. Often in the Marks 20% off weekends etc too. Also remember it's once a day so you need much much less even though it's more expensive.

Really don't rate the one a day ones - family of very pale skinned kids and it just doesn't protect them.

Currently in Florida where it's baking hot and using the Aldi own brand Lacura range which is proving excellent. No burning and red faces. Cream better than spray though. And cheap as chips!

We use Banana Boat Ultra Sport - thick but not sticky. We get it in huge pump dispensers because the children need it every day where we live.

I always use Nivea, always been very reliable.

We just used Tesco factor 50 on kids and 30 on us. 5 star rated and about £3.99 a bottle. It's the first holiday I've been on where I haven't burned at all for years.

There really is such a small difference between 30 and 50. Something like 1% from memory so you'd be better with a 5 star factor 30.

We use ultra sun and bought the last tSV on QVC but we do reapply and don't rely on the 8 hour coverage thing.

Aldi Factor 50 is great - recommend the spray version in an aerosol (blue) - a couple of squirts and children's skin is covered with a fine mist of sunscreen - very little rubbing in is needed.
