How to get the redness of bites to fade?

Hello wise ones

I have had a number of insect bites on my legs. They have completely healed over, but have left horrible red scars. I have very pasty skin, so it looks horrible. Any advice on what I can do to make them fade?

Thanks

I put sudocrem on bites. And probably everything else

Trousers. Sorry not helpful but it takes time.

Sudocrem - I thought I had seen the last of that stuff!

Trousers may be sensible, but not an option. I try to wear shorts/skirts from May until October. I love the air about my knees. Grin

A light fake tan would camouflage them until they fade.

Maybe try a green concealer over the the top to neautralise the redness then a normal concealer over it.

This:

It really works!

I often use the Elizabeth 8 hour cream on bites once it's initially gone down and that works really well, I'm not sure if it works on scarring as well though.

Hahrumble! Thanks Harry I'll try that. And I've ordered some Vitamin E cream

Grin I also have an invention to cure insect bites, but it involves swans and hasn't been tested yet, so maybe stick with traditional methods.
