Inflight bag

I have a small holiday handbag, I have a beach bag but neither are right for plane travel.
In the past I've taken a leather tote but it gets too full with iPad, phone, kindle, headphones etc and is awfully heavy.
Can anyone suggest a lightweight but sturdy zippable bag for travelling?

Longchamp pliage

I have the large Le Pliage in navy and it is amazing for long-haul flights with DC.

I also have an LV Neverfull which I love for travelling, but the Longchamp is zippable so far more secure for airports.

I like my rucksack. 3 different compartments so can get lots in but very lightweight. Leaves hands free which I find really good.

Thank you. The Pilage looks perfect. Are they quite tough?

Longchamp Le Pliage every time, they are lightweight and hard wearing. I have now converted both my DD.

I'm looking at them on the Selfridges website, would you suggest large or medium? The large seems to have a shoulder strap that would be useful.

The large and the small Le Pilage shopping totes have long straps that are suitable for carrying on the shoulder. I have 2 large le pilage totes and 1 small one but would always carry the large for my inflight bag. Le Pilage large shopping tote
