Comfortable shoe recommendations

I want to step up my walking exercise quite considerably but none of my shoes are that comfortable. I am looking for something very comfortable for lots of walking to and from town (with plenty of arch support as I had plantar fasciitis a year ago) neutral colour (to go with everything well I mainly wear trousers and occasionally jeans) probably the heel of a trainer height but not sports brand style. I am 52 so not exactly a trend setter but not quite ready to join the 'bus trip brigade' either. I have had a look in ECCO today but couldn't quite decide. I a a good size 8 and a lot bigger than I should be. Any suggestions Thanks

There're from a few years ago but look similar to:

www.hotter.com/gb/en/solar-shoes?fit=&colour=Khaki

and

www.hotter.com/gb/en/stellar-shoes?fit=&colour=Navy%20Multi

or

www.hotter.com/gb/en/gravity-shoes-gravisuksl-product--1?fit=&colour=Dark%20Stone

I prefer lace ups as I have narrow feet but they have slip ons and Velcro styles too.

Timberland boots are very comfortable and don't look too masculine.
