I need a new one! Under £20, for patchy skin - no major break outs but colour a bit all over the place. Anyone use a good one?

Oil of Olay day cream with spf for me

PippaFawcett · 28/06/2017 00:18

Oil of Olay (I'm old enough to remember when it was called Ulay) beauty fluid. Just their usual stuff, I love it and I've tried lots of expensive stuff.

Superdrug b.range is really good - lots of products for different needs. Often on offer.

NiteFlights · 28/06/2017 08:26

Oil of Olay Total Effects spf 15. The unfragranced one seems less good for some reason.

squishee · 28/06/2017 08:39

I've tried a lot but always go back to Olay Beauty Fluid Sensitive. Fab, unperfumed and around 6 pounds for 200 ml.

Almond oil.

Do you want one with added spf in it or do you wear separate sun protection?

Skin type? Dry/dehydrated/oily?

NomDePlumeReloaded · 28/06/2017 08:55

My skin is dehydrated/normal. I'm early 40's. I get the odd spot, hormonal. Maybe one a month.

I use rosehip oil at night (face, neck & décolletage) and La Roche Posay Pigmentclar spf 30 day cream daily (again, face, neck, chest if exposed).

creamcheeseandlox · 28/06/2017 08:56

I use the Nivea q10 range. Only cream I've re bought.

NomDePlumeReloaded · 28/06/2017 09:01

Though I only get the odd spot, I am quite prone to reacting to skincare. I don't get on with highly fragranced or coloured stuff and can struggle with really thick creams or really astringent products. Basically, yucky formulations do me no favours but I suspect that is true of most people.

I also really like the Sarah Chapman Age Repair serum. Rich enough to be used as a summer moisturiser on my skin and has lots of actives in it. Downsides are no spf and it is £50.
