Black suede knee high stiletto boots

So I'm not a high heel person (I love them but they hate me, so much so I got married in ballet flats).
I have a few pairs of stilettos which I only wear on very special occasions, and a pair of suede wedges that I find much more comfy, so if it's an occasion when I want to wear heels. I wear them if possible, as I can walk in them better and they are more comfy.
I also have a pair of boots described in the title. I find them easier to walk in because I feel more supported as they are high leg.
I've worn them a few times with black skinny jeans and a top. But I was wondering how else I could possibly style them? I've got light grey skinny jeans, would that go? Or what about with a loose fit knee length pink dress, with a black top underneath for a layered effect?
I'd like to wear them a bit more if I can, for like going for a drink in the local pub, or for a meal, but always worry the boots would look too much (people on the tv wear knee high boots with jeans and seem to get it right).
Any suggestions? Or are knee high stilettos too much for the local pub?

I'd put them away until at least October!

For autumn and winter I would style them with skinny black jeans (if you go lighter it will make your legs look short if you are on the shorter side)

Also with dresses and skirts yes. I tend to wear with the tighter look but have worn a flared skirt with them. Looks good.
