Sally Hansen airbrush legs - question

I just bought an aerosol of this - however I now think I may have bought the wrong product (it remains unopened so could probably take back and exchange as I have receipt). I thought it was a fake tanner for my legs - that is what I want - I just want to do my legs but I want to fake tan them not use tan make up on them that washes off - have I got the wrong thing? If so, what should I buy instead please? thanks so much

Airbrush legs is a spray on colour that washes off. I don't use tanning products so can't advise what to change it to, I'm sure there will be plenty of ladies that will help soon.

No it sounds like you want something different.

L'Oreal do a Sublime Bronze Self Tanning mist which seems to have good reviews? Similar price to Sally Hansen too.

oh thank you - yes they had that too but silly me opted for the SH - bit of a novice but want one that I only do every few days and doesn't wash off.

Aldi have a version of this on offer for £4. I picked some up yesterday but am yet to try it.

The Sally Hansen stuff actually lasts for a few showers.

LaGattaNera · 18/06/2017 15:57

thanks - I do quite a bit of exercise so I am not sure SH would last that long with me what with sweating and showers etc.

It's make-up for legs, but it's very good - the cream version is easier to use than the aerosol. It has very good staying-power - needs a good scrub with soap to get it off.

Any advice on colours? I saw them on offer in Superdrug but with 4 colour options. I'm fair so obviously wouldn't go for darkest one but is the fair coloured enough or medium better?

LaGattaNera · 18/06/2017 21:34

I am relatively fair and the lady told me to start of with the fair then get the medium though I went straight for the medium. I just think that what with running and gyming and sweating then showering I'd be better with a fake tan on legs that I top up every few days but yes it does look like it gives good results - I really wanted tanned legs so I look better in my running and gym shorts as my white legs look v unattractive and when pale, the skin tone looks worse too - am not as young as I once was and even though slim, am a bit crinkly.

I use a rimmel fake tan mousse that is really easy to use with no streaks and no smell. I put it on with one of the application mitts. Supposed to last a week, I put it on about every 3 days just in case and I don't have luminous blue legs any more Smile
