So chin hair removal

Right then. I have just plucked enough hair out of my chin and under chin to stuff a small mattress ShockShockAngry

What products do people here recommend.

I have PCOS although am menopausal now.

Using tweezers is all very well but I get an annoying rash when the hair starts to grow again.. .Fed up with it looking unsightly.

So would a cream be better?

Which one is best?

Electrolysis is your friend. I had laser. Didnt work and cost a lot. Had electrolysis first weekly then every 2 weeks and now just if l feel l need it..l cant believe l found something that works. Go to someone experienced. Am also menopausal.

Lumea changed my life! I had a thick beard which I plucked as much as I could and shaved daily. Now I still shave over it a couple of times a week (habit more than anything) and zap it every week, but I no longer have any stubble!

I have two patches on my chin I find going for wax every two weeks and using Vaniqa cream morning and night keeps the little creatures at bay. Still have to pluck the odd one though.

Watching with interest.

Whatever you do Op don't pop into McDonalds for a wee and then look at yourself in the mirror as you wash your hands. The lighting is cruel I tell you so cruel.

At home I looked just fine, in that bloody mirror I looked feral, feral hedge eyebrows and more hairs on my chin than a pigs back.

I had to eat two cheeseburgers for the shock.

I'm never going there again. Ever!

Does the Lumea work on that really fine downy hair Wonderpants? That's what I have and it seems to be getting worse.

CMOTDibbler · 05/06/2017 09:55

I have white, bristly hairs which do have a few dark friends, but I hate them all as you can just feel the little beggars

CarbonMint · 05/06/2017 10:12

Ive just been wrestling with a thick black hair on my chin. It's there, I can feel the bugger but it's not long enough to tweezer out. But by the end of the day I can guarantee it'll be ten inches long waving a placard for attention.

Temporaryanonymity · 05/06/2017 10:14

I had terrible black wiry hair. Thought it was getting better but no, now they are just white not black.

alltouchedout · 05/06/2017 10:27

Those smoothspring things are good for the downy hair. It's oddly satisfying to use.

Electrolysis x

Liiinoo · 05/06/2017 11:29

The springy things are very good.

Alfieisnoisy · 05/06/2017 12:52

If they ate course try the vaniqua also

Alfieisnoisy · 05/06/2017 15:03

I was SO tempted to go eat at McDonalds today Maiden, just to see how much of a good job I'd done with the tweezers. Grin
