Budget bronzer for pale skin?

I would like something quite subtle as I'm v pale, just to give a bit of colour. Ideally less than £10. Any recommendations?

If you've got any W7 around you, they do a knock off of the Charlotte Tilbury duo which is V nice and light.

Bourjouis have Healthy Balance powders in 4 different colours, I use 53 light beige as a bronzer & vanilla as a finishing powder, I am very pale too, and find they work very well and reasonably priced.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/06/2017 18:10

I bought the MUA one last summer, in the lightest shade, after it was recommended on here. It's really not too bad!

Pistachiois50pmore · 03/06/2017 20:08

The Bourjois bronzer that's packaged to look a bit like a bar of chocolate (!) is really nice.

Lidlfix · 03/06/2017 20:11

In the winter I am very pale (ivory foundation shades) Celtic type complexion. I wear Sleek contouring kit from Superdrug in light. I go lighthanded with the "bronzer" part and blend, blend, blend with a big fluffy brush. The blush is a natural pinky shade. £9.99 so in your price range I bought my first as I dropped my Urban Decay kit on my tiled floor Sadand l couldn't afford/justify replacing. I have stuck with Sleek my expert DD4 aged 13 tells me it's a dupe for the Urban Decay anyway.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 03/06/2017 20:12

Seventeen do a good non glittery one that's apparently a dupe of Nars Laguna. Good for my pale skin anyway.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/06/2017 20:24

I buy superdrug Mua face powder in the darkest shade. It was £1.

violetgrey · 04/06/2017 13:17

I switched from NARS Laguna to Body Shop's bronzer in the palest shade and I am very happy with it. It's not glittery and it suits my pale skin. Slightly above your budget but Body Shop runs promotions all the time so you could probably get a discount somewhere to bring the price down.

This in 01 shade.

I second the body shop honey bronzer, it's the only one I use.

Flippingecktucker · 04/06/2017 13:34

The W7 cream bronzer is great, it's a dupe for Chanel's bronzing base and is dirt cheap on Amazon/eBay.

10Betty10 · 04/06/2017 19:02

I second the Bourjois Delice de Poufre (chocolate bar looking packaging). Is very subtle and non orange. I'm pale and it gives me a nice hint of sun without it looking artificial.

ArieltheMermaid1720 · 04/06/2017 19:59

Another vote for the body shop from me.

Rockandrollwithit · 04/06/2017 20:02

Definitely Body Shop honey bronzer in the lightest shade.

ScarlettDarling · 04/06/2017 20:08

I wear the body shop bronzer in a darker shade and I love it. 40% off with code 14672 at the minute.

QueenMortifauxcado · 04/06/2017 20:09

Gosh bronzing powder. Its very subtle. Looks like it's on sale at superdrug at the moment although sold out online.

MadameSzyszkoBohush · 04/06/2017 20:35

Wow! So many options. Thanks all, will check these out Smile

W7 dupe of Chanel's bronzing base or Seventeen's ( in Boots) cream bronzer is as good.
Use a big brush ( huge) from Primark to swirl it on.
If you are really flush the Chanel one is great but if not the two dupes are a fantastic replacement.

Beautifullymixed · 04/06/2017 22:47

Another body shop honey bronzer fan here.
I'm a medium brown skin tone and have gone for shade three.
Definitely not glittery, orange or drying on the skin. A light hand gives a flush of colour.

Botanicbaby · 04/06/2017 23:10

Boots Seventeen do a Bronzing Shimmer Brick (I know, I know! - and I am not a fan of the Bobbi Brown one) but this, the paler, pinkish one, not the brown, is fabulous for pale skin.

Best applied with a kabuki brush using a light touch, it doesn't make you too sparkly and shimmery. Plus point is that it lasts for ages and doesn't crack and split into a thousand zillion pieces before you have finished using it, unlike the BB one.

MadameSzyszkoBohush · 05/06/2017 21:07

Thanks all.
Botanic there's obviously some kind of shame around shimmer bricks that I don't know about! Grin

Seconding the Boots Seventeen cream bronzer; it's nice and shimmery and applied carefully gives a really nice natural colour.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 05/06/2017 21:11

The Bourjois chocolate one is a bit too dark if you're pale, but the have a lighter one in a round packaging.

Also, Max Factor do some great Hourglass inspired ones.

MadameSzyszkoBohush · 06/06/2017 20:16

Thanks both, I'm going to have a lot of swatches on my hand next time I get to Boots! Smile
