How can I get this hair colour?!

I saw this hair colour a few weeks ago and fell in love. I'm still desperate to go that colour but I really don't want to go to a hair dresser Confused I will if need be though.

Is there any way I could get this colour at home?

What colour is your hair at the moment?

Stansmith01 · 02/06/2017 19:25

Sorry can't help but just wanted to say it's a gorgeous colour

Omgkittiess · 02/06/2017 19:27

Current colour. (Excuse the state of it, should've brushed it before photo)

I think it would be a hairdresser job.

Omgkittiess · 02/06/2017 19:28

I thought it would be but thought I would check before.

I'm really interested in the answer to this too- also if anyone knows how much it would cost to go this colour in a salon?

Donth8procreate · 02/06/2017 19:30

I know nothing about dying hair as I've only ever had mine done at a hair dresser but maybe if you dyed your hair brown and then put an auburn colour over it? Not a clue though I'm sorry.

Is this colour maybe similar? If you dilute it slightly?

Don't dilute your hair dye, it most likely won't change the colour and it will it will just fade quicker and not last more than a few weeks.

The colour 1stworld posted is probably the closest you are going to get without seeing a hair dresser.

This looks similar goo.gl/images/HY8LhF
It's the colour I want to go too

Changedjustforthisonly · 02/06/2017 19:43

Would guess you'd need some balayage or lightening at the ends to get the sun kissed ends

JennyGreenteeth · 02/06/2017 19:57

If you want to do it yourself you could buy a couple of tubes of majirel colour and a developer off Amazon. It's professional dye and has always turned out well on my hair. You'll need gloves and the dye mixing bowl and brush as well. If you leave it on a bit less time at the ends less colour will deposit there and they'll stay lighter for a bayalage effect.

I'd ask the hairdresser for rose gold tones, leaning more toward copper/gold than pink.

Omgkittiess · 02/06/2017 20:36

jenny you have just reminded me we have a huge bottle of developer from when I did my hair a while back! I will just have to see if I can find the right colour.

This is one of those times to suck up the cost and go hairdressers. That colour posted above looks far too dark.

With your hair colour it would be easy to end up with orange hair!

StarUtopia · 02/06/2017 20:45

Personally I wouldn't. Your hair is a lovely blonde. It will take some doing to get it back to that colour if/when you change your mind!

QueenMortifauxcado · 02/06/2017 20:58

Not a hairdresser but if I were winging it I'd be tempted by a dark ash blonde and toning with an orange/peach direct dye. Your hair is far ashier than mine though so I'm not sure it would work. Loreal rimini looks close-ish on the box but can't find pics of how it would turn out. That and a touch of rose after might work?

Disclaimer: my hair currently looks like a fruit salad sweet so you may not want to listen to me.
