I bought it! I love it! The pattern disguises my post baby belly and the cut is so flattering. And although Cod says I am too short, the regular is a lovely length. Hurrah and thanks for advice. The t shirts I bought for ds are irritatingly small though, will have to swap fpr 18-24 months (he's only 10 months)

oh hoorah hoorah - big cheer for the small of nork!

I have big hips - would it work magic for me?

sod cod!

deaconblue · 18/03/2007 19:48

I have big hips too, low slung bum, chunky thighs, cankles and afore mentioned norks. Looks so flattering, am planning to wear for ds' first birthday party. He thinks it's hilarious as I never wear dresses - keeps looking up my skirt

Having grown up very working class, am secretly very excited at the thought that people at ds' party may see my dress and consider me middle class

Littlelapin, is this the article? Entertaining. And quite funny in places.

well the bum, thigh and leg issue would be ok. shall I stuff my bra and try the dress on again to test its bignorkability?

OP posts:
CODalmighty · 18/03/2007 20:33

short arse

JackieNo · 18/03/2007 20:33

'bignorkability' - great word.

CODalmighty · 18/03/2007 20:33

god you describve yourslef as some kind of she troll sb

deaconblue · 18/03/2007 20:36

I think it was you described me as a she troll Cod
I was quite proud of my new word Jackie. Wouldn't it be good if online clothing shops used smallnorkability and bignorkability to give you a clue how the dress would look?

CODalmighty · 18/03/2007 20:37

fried eggs

JackieNo · 18/03/2007 20:38

shoppingbagsundereyes - I think you could copyright that, and sell it to Boden themselves.

deaconblue · 18/03/2007 20:38

They are worse than fried eggs after bf. I look a bit like poor old Tara PT in the norks dept nowadays. Think will invest in push up bra to wear with new dress

what colour skirt you got lapin?

i have a couple of those from last year, they are nice and really well made, but i wish they were a little narrower. anti swish.

I love swish too. Am envious of the model's nut brown smooth legs though lapin, mine are decidedly winter pasty

deaconblue · 18/03/2007 20:46

I think I mean pastey LOL
