mum2sam, Congratulations on your wedding. I'm no expert, but drinking loads of water and eating very healthily (low fat, no sugar, caffeine or dairy really helps) - although how easy that will be for you, when planning a wedding and looking after a LO, I don't know!
However, if you have a spare small amount of cash, I can really recommend Clarins Instant Light Compexion (their spelling) Perfector. I wore some recently when I went to a wedding and my friend said I was glowing - not bad considering I got my period for the first time since DS born and that normally coincides with bad skin for me.
Must add, do a patch test first with it, in case you react to it (would hate that to happen before your wedding, but Clarins products are pretty natural) - I had a fake tan a few weeks before my wedding to try it out and came out in an all over body rash!
Am sure you will be glowing on the day anyway, as every bride does .

Sorry that should be Complexion!

hermykne · 16/03/2007 19:17

avoid carbs and eat loads of fish there is a 3 days diet for the face by perriconne i did it and I could see difference... drink loads of water..

careful about new stuff -- it may make you break out..

use a gentle exfoliator -- eve lom cleanser and cloth is fab

Sleep a lot
exercise
lots of water
eat really healthily
lots of sex and fresh air

I would book yourself in for a skin buff and tan at a reputable spa/health studio/beauty salon just a couple of days before your big day.. If you look around town you'll probably get a good deal for £50. Try Elemis salons in your area for a quote. Other than that do as everyone else suggests re diet and exercise, and go for it girl!!!! Good luck

totaleclipse · 16/03/2007 21:15

8 hours sleep a night
4 pints of water a day.

Depending if you have the time and if you live anywhere near a department store wih a Clarins counter. I booked myself and my bridesmaid in for a Clarins makeup. It looked great all day. The assistant even gave me some samples to top up during the day. Good luck with your big day.

PeachesMcLean · 17/03/2007 09:57

Johnson & Johnson Holiday Skin. Probably cheaper than the Clarins and certainly easy to use - put on a bit every day and it builds up gradually.

If you mean the skin on your face, then I have to recommend Decleor Source D'eclat 10 day radiance powder cure. Its an intensive treatment that you use for ten days after youve cleansed and before you moisturise. I used it before my wedding and my skin looked amazing.
Read about it on the decleor website, and have alook at other products too. Phytopeel is an amazing exfoliating cream that you rub off and its the best one ive ever used.

tinkerbellhadpiles · 17/03/2007 15:17

For really glowing skin on your wedding day, tuck the back of your dress into your knickers and have someone tell you AFTER you've walked down the aisle

I'd be careful about cutting down too much on junk etc if you normally eat it, and drinking loads of water, as that might have the exact reverse effect in the short term and give you loads of spots. You'd probably be looking gorgeous by mid-honeymoon though!
I'd just try and get 8 hour's sleep, up the water intake a bit, cut the junk a bit, and get plenty of fresh air.
