Best London Botox for a newbie?

Elizabethtailored · 21/05/2017 21:26

I have done a past search and found a few old threads but a lot of recommendations seem suspiciously like plugs or are quite a few years old.

Central or sw London would be best. Would like to attack my wrinkly forehead and deep naso labial lines.

Any recommendations please for a first timer?

She's great and a qualified nurse

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/09/2017 20:50

Went to melior clinics on Harley street on Friday (first time for me). V pleased with results so far!

bananafish81 · 17/09/2017 21:31

I see Dr Emma Wedgworth at Dr Sam Bunting's clinic on Harley st. She's ace

See a consultant dermatologist or plastic surgeon who's an accredited member of the appropriate professional body - much preferable to a nurse or dentist or Dr who isn't a consultant in either speciality, IMO

KeiraH · 17/09/2017 21:42

Dr Robert in 10 Harley street is the best in London. He has been doing my face for years and it's so natural, I just look fresh rather than frozen. His IG page is instagram.com/drrobertofficial

BlackSwan · 17/09/2017 21:45

My god those lips are frightening.

BumWad · 17/09/2017 21:47

They truly are BlackSwan Grin

Fruitboxjury · 17/09/2017 21:50

Wow - those lips would actually put me off using someone, they're that big

Runaways01 · 18/09/2017 06:15

Jesus. Most of these 'after' shots look like something from Botched Up Bodies Shock

I cannot understand why this practitioner would be someone to be recommended rather than advised to steer well clear of

Any practitioner who promotes this work clearly

  • is happy to promote a hideous aesthetic
  • doesn't have their patients' best interests at heart if they're willing to give someone a shit tonne of filler just because they've asked for it, regardless of whether they think that's a good idea

For botox you MUST go to someone who will guide you to the minimal amount possible to get the desired effect

And whereby the desired effect is to look like you, but fresher

I'd expect a good practitioner of lip filler to show work whereby lips looked naturally full, not like artificial dolls

If that's the kind of filler results they're happy to show off, Christ knows what their botox looks are like

Good work shouldn't be perceptible, let alone make you look like something out of a horror movie

Hi bananafish. Do you mind me asking how much Emma W charges for Botox? I'm due to see Dr Sam for an initial consultation next month and am thinking about trying Botox. Thanks.

bananafish81 · 18/09/2017 14:39

@BasicBetty honestly can't remember off the top of my head. Couple of hundred quid for 3 areas - ask the secretary and she can confirm. Good luck!

SpringBreak · 18/09/2017 14:46

Dr Russo of the rejuvenation clinic. offices just off harley st (wimpole or wigmore? wimpole i think - the quiet one not the one with the shops!) and Canary Wharf. His secretary is hopeless so bear with the appointments system but he is excellent.

BasicBetty · 18/09/2017 14:54

will do, thanks bananafish

Jimmy Carr goes to PHI clinic on Harley St.

Allegedly, of course. coughcough.

BumWad · 18/09/2017 19:15

That doc has just instagrammed more weird lips

Freaky Confused

Fosterdog123 · 18/09/2017 19:45

The consultant clinic. No weird lips or anything else on their Instagram page. They're excellent.

IsobelMorton · 06/01/2019 09:55

I used Cosmedocs to get botox for excessive sweating of my hands. Cosmedocs has very reasonable prices, and were very accomodating, allowing me (with my restricted income) to receive treatment in just one hand, thus halving the price. The doctor and his assistant really made me feel at ease. Plus the results were great, and I was offered a free top up! If you're considering botox for hyperhidrosis, I would definitely recommend Dr Haq and his team.

nimbomimbo · 06/01/2019 10:28

Yes, Melior, they were recommended few years back and have been going there twice a year. All the staff are lovely, kind and caring. Always happy with the results and after care.

LostInShoebiz · 06/01/2019 10:29

Dr Vicky Dondos is superb.

rebeccarl1 · 10/02/2019 15:02
