Culotte Jumpsuit. Will I look like a tellytubby?

Never ever thought it would look good, but there was one left in my size so I thought "meh, I will try it". It feels comfy, and I think looks ok. Im a bit bigger round the middle since having two dcs so imagined it would accentuate the big tummy but it doesnt seem to.

Ill probably chuck my trusty little grey jacket over for the sides of ham upper arms, and was thinking some nice bright heels.

Will people point and laugh!? Its so far out of my usual repetoire for a night out (skinny jeans, heels, floaty top).

Apologies for the changing room snap, have yet to try it at home.

I think it will look lovely with heels and nice jewellery. I wouldn't wear a jacket though. Also love the bag in general but wouldn't put the two together

MaisyPops · 17/05/2017 21:56

I'm not a fan of jumpsuits most of the time but short ones just seen odd and universally unflattering.

KoalaDownUnder · 18/05/2017 03:19

I don't like it, but only because of the weird leg length.

LOVE the clutch bag, though!

MaryLennoxsScowl · 18/05/2017 07:44

Can you do another photo with shoes on, please? As a shortarse, any photo in a changing room with no shoes makes my legs look stumpy, even things that later look great. Wear with cropped denim jacket and pointy flats?

MaryLennoxsScowl · 18/05/2017 07:47

Also don't listen to the jeans and a floaty top brigade - it shows off your thighs and hides your waist!

MaryLennoxsScowl · 18/05/2017 07:48

I mean jeans and top do, which would be the opposite of what you want.

I think it looks gorgeous!

I am a very similar shape to you and bought an almost identical one & was very dubious, but it's so flattering and comfortable - I can't wait to wear it.

The bag is beautiful, and would be a lovely accessory to the jumpsuit, and also for jazzing up a tshirt & jeans etc.

Rioja123 · 18/05/2017 08:31

Could look good with heels, it's hard to tell in bare feet.

Trills · 18/05/2017 08:34

I like it. I've seen a lot of trousers this shape/length around so they don't look weird to me any more.

Love the pockets.

BitOutOfPractice · 18/05/2017 09:32

I've just bought a coulotte jumsit very similar to that. BF looked like this at it Hmm but I like it so I've kept it!

titsbumfannythelot · 18/05/2017 13:10

I think it will look nice with a wedge heel and a chunky belt.

CateGory8 · 18/05/2017 13:18

I like it.

OyWithThePoodles · 18/05/2017 13:22

I like it and I like the clutch. I've got a similar one - I wear it with block heel sandals or high wedges and a cropped cardi.

sheeeshh · 18/05/2017 13:48

It is deeply unflattering. Sorry. I've only ever seen a handful of people really pull off a jumpsuit.

MinesaPinot · 18/05/2017 14:01

I've just bought a coulotte one from Uniqlo (I'm 5'6 and size 14/16). Tried it on with glittery wedges and I love it!

I am sorely tempted to get it in another colour.

burnishedsilver · 18/05/2017 14:27

I like it.
Where is it from? I'd like to try it on.

lorelairoryemily · 18/05/2017 14:35

I don't like it at all.. Sorry! Clutch is fab though!!

Trills · 18/05/2017 19:46

Is there a black Tellytubby that I don't know about?

Like the silver Power Ranger?

NapQueen · 19/05/2017 07:31

Yeah and its called NapQueen. You never see it as its always asleep.

I like it. Think it depicts a woman who is confident, fun, interested in fashion and gives no fucks about those who think only Size Zeros should wear jumpsuits.

I think it flatters your waist. Heels great but I also think you could wear it with white trainers (like Addidas Superstars or Stan Smiths). A tight, cropped pale denim jacket and boom! Away you go!
