Really supportive shoes needed - ugh. Geox??

Help please!
I have 'posterior tibial tendon weakness' which is giving me constant discomfort/pain, and now need to wear orthotic insoles and stop wearing all my beloved shoes. I'm hypermobile, so this is probably a permanent change. (Basically my feeble tendons aren't strong enough to hold my foot bones in the right position, so they've moved and need supporting).

I'm a Converse/desert boot/ballet pump wearer, and apparently these are all absolutely SHIT for my crappy feet.

I loathe proper trainers, but have to get something similar - any recommendations?
I was looking at the Geox Jaysen and they're ok, but are they supportive enough?

Otherwise, maybe the Skechers Go Walk 2?

Any help or experience of this would be great, thank you! Flowers

Thank you so much for this thread. I am a teacher, on half-term at the mo and I have being trying to get away with trainers under long trousers for the last week of term because of chronic foot pain, but I need sensible shoes that are acceptable for our dress code (and so I can wear skirts and dresses). I have just browsed the Vionics site and bought two pairs of shoes that look perfect for me. Will report back when they arrive. This thread is a lifesaver!

I'm following this thread with interest, I have Achilles tendinitis, a bone spur on my heel, hypermobility, the start of arthritis in my feet and really high arches, oh plus my feet are really wide - nice! I do envy people with pretty feet who like nice in flip flops.
Anyway I have been wearing trainers for the last few months and have prescribed orthotics that actually hurt my feet so have just ordered some Skechers with memory foam so hope they'll help,
Also read online about Spring Step Orella sandals being good for high arches so thinking about ordering these so at least can wear a dress again 😀
