Do you keep your "old" bras after the bra intervention?

Did "the bra intervention" a few weeks ago Shock

Now in a much more flattering and comfortable 34F instead of 36D. The question is, do I just get rid of the 36Ds or is there any chance I might be that size again and need them? It pains me to get rid of decent, not inexpensive, bras and I'd be annoyed if I had to fork out for new ones in that size. But realistically is there any chance of being that same size again?

Not planning any more pregnancies, planning on losing a bit of weight. Also got Mirena a year and a half ago which I plan on keeping but I'm sure it's partly responsible for an increase in cup size (is that possible with the hormones in it?!).

So - keep the old ones or get rid?

Overseas aid charities will be very grateful if you decided against keeping them.

I'd get rid of them. That's quite a difference, enjoy your new found comfort!

I'd get rid of them. The elastane wil dleteriorate over time anyway, so I tend to feel it's better for someone to have the use of them now.

There's an African charity that takes bras, you could Google the name?

Strikhedonia · 09/05/2017 12:36

If they are in good condition, I would consider women refuges. Some of them are happy to take anything to help someone who has left her home with just the clothes on her back. (maybe all of them need clothes, I only know of my local ones!)

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to find an aid/refugee charity that wants them. I will feel better knowing they're being used rather than taking up drawer space "just in case". Smile
