I'm guessing it is. Where do you buy yours, and what is it please?

I'm interested in this. I use some Paul Mitchell products (a hair thickener and a gel) which I buy from my hairdressers, but I still use shampoo and conditioner from L'Oréal as the Paul Mitchell ones are expensive.

I've pretty much switched everything else over to cruelty free so am eager to find something that works for my hair too.

Me too, L'Oréal is the shampoo I've got, but read an awful article the other day, and never want to buy anymore.

There looks to be some great products on Amazon, just wondering if anyone's got any recommendations Smile

I think it depends how cruelty free you want to go, in that a brand may be cruelty free but be part of a company that isn't. Superdrug and Sainsbury's own products have the bunny logo, and their own brand products are nice.

FriendshipBraclet · 08/05/2017 16:48

I use superdrug own brand. The conditioner isn’t great but shampoo fine.

BastardGoDarkly · 08/05/2017 16:54

Superdrug and Sainsbury's? I'll have a look thanks, thinking about it, co-op probably do one? All their own brand cleaning stuff is cruelty free.

Not supermarket (though they might sell it) but I love Faith in nature products. They are vegan approved, leaping bunny symbol and are free from parabens etc. I normally get it from Superdrug when they have it half price which they do at the minute. My favourite is the grapefruit shampoo.

The Faith in Nature looks lovely. We don't have a Superdrug in our town anymore, but a natural health food store stocks it apparently so I might go and have a look tomorrow.

waitrose are cruelty free and their own brand stuff is not bad. Ditto Marks and Sparks, and they have several ranges varying in price.

Pistachiois50pmore · 08/05/2017 20:48

I really like Yes To Carrots shampoo and conditioner (from Waitrose, Ocado, health food shops and decent chemists) and I've stuck with it for about three years now which is a record for me. Bottles are massive and last ages.

Davines hair range (from Liberty or online) is also uhhhhh-maaaaazinh but more spendy so I just get treatmenty products from them not the reg shampoo and conditioner.

FunkinEll · 08/05/2017 21:40

I like faith in nature too, I have the aloe and lemon range at the moment which smells lovely.

BadlyDrawnBuoy · 08/05/2017 21:47

Happy Hair Days - cruelty free, sulfate free, SLS free, paraben free. Lovely stuff, around £4 from Sainsbury's but often on special offer.

poppym12 · 08/05/2017 22:37

Supermarket-wise, the Phil Smith range in sainsburys is pretty good (especially the styling products). Leaping bunny approved so there's no doubt about the cruelty free status.

MoonlightandMusic · 08/05/2017 23:38

Not quite supermarket, but TK Maxx stock a lot of cruelty free products.

BastardGoDarkly · 09/05/2017 00:58

That's so helpful, thanks everyone! Flowers Trip to Sainsbury's first I think Smile
